In our opinion, best gorge on the Gibb! Not as difficult (compared to Manning and El Questro) and best ‘pay off’. Stunning waterfall, beautiful big pool to swim in, crystal clear waters and thermal pool! So worth the effort! A couple little water crossing but nothing that you get wet for. A few snakes along the trail but they move away quickly. Bring water and best to do early!

Best gorge on the Gibb

We visited Emma Gorge Resort for the day. Impressed by the verdant surrounds, soothing, service great by Cafe staff and the Retail Store at Visitor Centre. Rebecca (great gal from Echuca) and Storme (smiling service from Banff Canada) are so friendly with all. Even met Cam and Holly, Park Rangers , looking after the environment and engaging with visitors. Great experience 

Excellence @REmma Gorge

Rough going to walk up the gorge..
Have sensible foot wear, a hat, water and some meet and greet fellow walkers and scramblers to see the water pools  up the gorge. 
Worth the walk and tea and scone or muffins at the resort when you finish .👍👍 from me 

A walk in the northern winter 

El Questro Emmas Gorge was a wonderful place to stay -- although the hike to the gorge was much harder than I expected (my husband and I are in our 70s). But definitely worth the visit. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer.

A terrific place to stay

This is an experience I was so lucky to be able to do.  I must say that I have always longed to stay at El Questro Homestead but a friend told me that Emma Gorge at El Questro is so unique it would be a shame not to go.  So we did.  I was so surprised how comfortable the glamping tents were. There is no airconditioning but fans and a flow through breeze are all one needs at this time of the year - one does need to watch ones step on the way out especially in the evening as there are snakes about. The restaurant is lovely and the breakfast is wonderful served in a most amazing setting.  Just one thing I missed was the pool as it was under renovation when we arrived. It will be so nice for those visiting after a hard day trekking.  The staff are wonderful and all should be commended for their great hospitality.

Unique and fabulous

Loved out 3 nights here. So peaceful and accomodation really embraced the surroundings. A great base for the area. Pool wasn’t operational when we were visiting but that didn’t hinder us as there a plenty of beautiful places to have a dip, Emma Gorge, Zebedee Springs and Amalia Gorge were the main attractions open whilst we were there. All are a must offering different experiences. We dined at both Emma Gorge and then popped over to El Questro for a dinner also. 

Beautiful & Peaceful 

I was highly impressed with the accommodation and facilities on offer at Emma Gorge. The beds and ensuite in the cabins were incredibly comfortable and clean. The situation of my cabin meant I had a private deck overlooking the natural environment (although this wasn't the case for some of the other cabins) that enabled me to relax after a long day. 
The restaurant served a good quality buffet for breakfast and dinner, and the rustic design of the dining area blended well with the environment.

Providing blankets in the room without having to ask would have helped with the cold mornings (although thanks to staff for providing a blanket on request) and being tall I kept hitting my head going in and out of the shower! 
The lights around the cabins also were bright and the crunch of the gravel under foot when people walked around was annoying, but provided a good level of safety that I appreciated regardless.

A stunning location to rest on a Kimberley trip

We made a day trip to Emma Gorge. The staff were fantastic going above and beyond. A special big thanks to Monique who was so kind and caring. The gorge itself is amazing well worth the short walk in and out.

Beautiful setting, GEAT accommodations and food, very friendly staff !!
The tents/rooms are absolutely amazingly clean, comfortable, great shower and lighting in the room, etc.
A wonderful stay!!! It’s worth the price and more !!

Outstanding stay

I spent only one night at this accommodation and I feel I truly missed out but as I had a fall and needed medical attention I asked for assistance to Kununurra Hospital.  The manager drove me completely out of his way to the hospital, took my bag and some food to the resort in town and made sure I was  settled in ED.  It was a beautiful place and I am sorry I could not experience more of it.
