Welcoming Host.
All facilities are clean and neat as a pin.
Located in the hub of town.
We arrived on a very hot evening.
Pool provided a much needed cool down.
Room was neat, clean and suitable for overnight stay.
It’s really nice to stay in a motel that shows the Managers take pride in their Business.

Welcoming Rest Stop

We have stayed at  the Border Motel a number of times on the return leg of some long road trips. The rooms contain all we need with comfortable beds, a handy kitchenette, and are spotlessly clean throughout, but without that horrid antiseptic smell you are often greeted by when entering many motel rooms.  The Border Motel is also budget friendly, at $144 for a twin room.

Tara, who runs the show, is lovely, warm, friendly and accommodating.

Roomy, designated undercover parking is right outside the door.  This, unlike our previous night in another motel where parking is on a first come first served basis - leading to some unpleasantness among guests. The Border has you covered. 

The Border Motel a minute's walk to the centre of town and the pubs and restaurants. There is a coffee shop serving breakfast and lunch next door to the motel.

We will be back again when we travel through Goondiwindi

Spotless, well setup rooms, close in to town and budget friendly.

Such a lovely stay, we arrived after 8 hours drive with our kids, room was cool and kids jumped straight into the beautiful clean pool!
Quite and clean room, with everything you need for a over night stay. Great location, easy walk to the pub for dinner.

Beautiful overnight stay

Highly impressed. The initial booking to check in was so easy and Tara was so friendly and accommodating. Well priced as well. 

Rooms are not massive but they are very clean, well set out with amenities and the bed was super comfortable. Undercover parking right outside the door was also really great. Lovely feel and furnishings.

Was within a 1 minute walk to the Queensland Hotel which was great for dinner and there is a coffee shop next door to the motel. 

Travel a lot for work and this had everything I needed and was a really nice space. Will definitely be back.

It’s the little things that matter!!! Fresh milk, free water , fluffy towels and lovely linen. We only had one night but , although the motel is dated , it was nicely decorated and clean and fresh. Well done !

It’s the little things that matter!!!

The staff were very helpful. We had two motorcycles and they parked us in a corner room to allow us more space. It was great.  The bed was comfortable and enjoyed a nice hot shower after a day's hot riding. Location was close to the main street and we were able to wander over to the local pub. For breakfast, a cafe was next door and made great bacon and eggs, and the important coffee. Very comfy bed and facilities.

Our room was small but very comfortable. older style motel, extremely friendly staff, very easy walk to the CBD. undercover parking was great, bed comfortable, the motel was full but we did not hear anybody, nice and quiet, good shower, would stay there again

A very nice place for a stopover, could have stayed longer, if time permitted.  Very comfortable beds and pillows.  Towels were great, nice decor. Good undercover parking and very friendly check in and advice.  Only a couple of minor issues. 

To the people who smoke outside your room (table and chair provided), have consideration as morning and evening air makes the smoke hang around and enters the rooms.  Go stand on the footpath out front. 

No soap holder in shower so everything sits on shower floor, hopefully sanitised correctly.  Water from shower runs into bathroom in in front of sink.  Might be wise to install a water jump to stop it from happening. 

Our Stay in Goondiwindi

To staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean, smelt amazing and had biscuits to die for. The motel was perfectly located to the CBD and ample places nearby to eat. We will definitely be staying here every time we travel past.

Can’t recommend this place enough, it is amazing.

Stayed at Border motel on the way to Alexandra Headland. Staff are very friendly. The room was spotless. Very close to a hotel which served cold beer and good meals.  Close to the river if you want a pleasant short walk.
