The Holiday Park had a great atmosphere with plenty of friendly people, active children, attractions within walking distance and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very polite and informative.

Weekend Away for a Photographic Group

We love the bush campsites at Jimmy's Beach with access to fantasic facilities, especially the hot showers!  It was perfect for our group because most of us are campers and enjoy the campsites, but some friends don't own a tent, but they were able to book the glamping tents and feel part of the group.  
We also love how close it is to wave beaches and sand dunes for older kids, but also the bay for younger kids.  And a communal fire place, which is essential for toasting our marshmallows over.

Definitely coming back again!

Love Jimmy's Beach

As a child my family would holiday in Hawks Nest often in the 70s and 80s.  I have thoroughly enjoyed rediscovering the area over the last few years and whilst the area is changing it’s still one of the most beautiful spots north of Sydney. The beaches are magnificent and there is lots to do in the area. We love staying in the cabins at Jimmy Beach which are clean, comfortable, and with everything you need.
Around the new pool area the new cabins and gardens look great but feel would be noisy during peak season, luckily there is a number of choices and styles of cabins too choose from. 
Staff are efficient and friendly, and looking forward to returning again and again.

Great renovated park. Stayed on unpowered site with caravan.  Had water tap. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a choice of what site we wanted to stay on. Easy walk to main beach and to Jimmy’s beach. ( which was amazing). Great clean facilities. Pool was warm and great to relax in clean garden areas. We will be back. 

Great location park.

My accommodation was in a Tiny house which was true to its name “tiny” but perfectly formed and had everything you would need or want, and positioned at the back of the property, only around 200 metres walk through the National park forest on a well travelled track, to Jimmy’s Beach.  Really well positioned, as the park was very busy with children being school holidays, was pleasantly surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was - exactly what I was after for my 5 night stay! Beautiful landscape, great facilities wonderful wildlife and dog friendly. 
Only two improvements, park WIFI was literally non-operational regardless of where you were in the park, so perhaps signal boosters could be explored. And the bed was quite uncomfortable, perhaps a more firm back support mattress could be purchased.
Look forward to visiting again - would recommend the park and the surrounding area for a wonderfully regenerating beach side escape ❤️

Stayed in the glamping tents - it was lovely. Could even see the playground from the deck of the tent/s. So easy; everything clean; beds were clean and comfy. The kitchen had everything you needed (except food). Kids had the best time; easy walk to the beach. The beach is calm and great for kids.

Great place for kids.

My husband and I have been coming here for over 10 years. It's such a beautiful location and Jimmy's Holiday Park has everything you could need for an easy, comfortable staff. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We went in a large group and they did everything they could to ensure our sites were together. There has been significant upgrades to the accommodation on the site and it's lovely to see. Thank you to Tye and the team for continuing to create a place that we love to escape to year after year.

This is my happy place - best campsite in the best location!

First ever experience of this type as there are now three Tiny Homes at far eastern end of park where we used to camp! Chose this as our treat after so many months of being locked down in Sydney! Quite small spacing inside, but the deck is best place to spend a lot of time. Only suitable for a couple or single person as it has only one QB bed. Lovely bush outlook from each but #2 has best view and largest deck. Watched birdlife come and go (plus a few dingoes), and love the access to both ocean or bay beaches. 
Good fish and chips at Tea Gardens plus numerous cafes around. Extensive walking trail to Winda Whoppa peninsula is great! Ferry rides available across to Nelson Bay or on Myall river.

Tiny home stay.

Loved our stay, park is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Walking distance to beaches, small but adequate shopping village. All staff were lovely, a big thank you to the lovely young lady at reception Mickey I think !!!! She was delightful. If you are travelling with your dog as we were be wary of the dingoes, can be a little unsettling as they wander through the park. We will be back.

Spent the weekend here just for a quick getaway.  The weather was not kind to us, but as we have been here before its a great park. Close to the beach Clean amenities. Staff were very friendly. We have our own van and the sites were great.
