Great communication system on facilities, entry etc. Also for the different equipment. Beautiful facilities, serene location. Loved how from the Mezzanine bedroom you could see out to Victor, see the sea see the lights, right down the Valley. Highly reccomend!

Wonderful Escape.

Mark and Tracey were very accommodating and the perfect hosts for our stay. We were welcomed by some very friendly horses in the paddock next to the driveway and then were amazed by the view from the Villa. It was such an amazing stay; the room was clean and tidy, but most of all, the peacefulness and serenity from the animals and view made it the perfect getaway to wind down.

Perfect Weekend Getaway to Unwind and Relax!

Seascape Retreat offers exactly what you expect from its name - a retreat. The location is so beautiful it left us speechless and the set up encouraged us to enjoy the view at all times. 
Mark was very kind and helpful to work with considering our very last minute booking (sorry Mark!) and words cannot express how grateful we both are to have experienced everything Seascape Retreat had to offer. 
We have no complaints about the location or service in any way - the 5 stars are very obviously deserved!

The most perfect retreat

The Sanctuary Villa is such a lovely place to stay.  The views at Seascape Retreat are magnificent.  This was the second visit for us, which was enjoyed just as much as the first.
The facilities mean that you are not forced to eat out for every meal, the kitchen is a delight to work in.

Sanctuary Villa was all I'd hoped for. 
The space is comfortable, very inviting and the views/surroundings are glorious. The fireplace made for cosy warm evenings with a book or a movie.
Everything has been very well considered leaving you wanting for nothing...except a longer stay!
I will definitely be back for future visits.

Spectacular location. Wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Seascape in November and loved all the small touches that made our mini-break perfect. Nothing was overlooked. We also enjoyed lunch at Lost Phoenix Farm, just down the road. We would love to return someday.

A gorgeous, secluded getaway

My husband and I have just returned home from a truly lovely two night stay here. The accomodation was beautiful, private and clean. 

The view from the private balcony was spot on, with a view from fields and bush to the water. 

We were close enough to Port Elliott and Victor Harbor that food was easily accessible and the accomodation also had a full kitchen, perfect for if we wanted to stay in. 

I am really quite particular about accomodations and usually have a comment around improvements but I really can’t fault this one. It was perfect.

Perfect little getaway

My wife & I simply adored this place.

Originally, the impetus for visiting Adelaide was simply to see Paul McCartney in concert at a much smaller venue than in Sydney. Though we decided to make a week of it. Why not explore South Australia a little more?!

I'm so glad we did. 

Seascape Retreat proved to be the perfect tonic, immediately imparting a sense of country calm. After the second of three nights there, I'd almost forgotten we were in S.A to see Sir Paul.

My photos won't do the views justice, though looking down the valley from our villa toward Victor Harbour was incredibly calming.

The surrounding wildlife included many different bird species. Galahs, Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Willy Wagtails, Magpies, Crows. Visually beautiful, aurally soothing.

Kangaroos appeared around the property every morning and evening, and the resident llamas were chilling nearby just doing their llama thing. (We were sorry we didn't sight the local echidna, even though Mark the owner pointed us in the right direction)

Seascape Retreat is the perfect distance outside of Victor Harbour proper, probably a 10-minute drive, and made us feel as though we were in a little world of our own.

It’s been mentioned in previous reviews, so I will mention it too. There is a little drive from the road to the main property, though unless you are riding a penny farthing bicycle, I'm really not sure what the fuss is about. Any car will happily handle this 'driveway' and one should absolutely treat it as an ever-changing mini wildlife tour. There were multiple kangaroo sightings each day. 

Our villa was immaculately presented, with amazing views from all rooms. There was a locally sourced bottle of wine and cookies on arrival, and pretty much any amenity you could think of was catered for. The bed was large and super comfortable.

If you are reading this review or viewing the property, as I initially did on TripAdvisor, it may well book you automatically into the Sky Villa, which I believe is the smaller villa. I’m glad I read that so I could book the larger Serenity Villa. If, however, you are after a slow combustion fire…then go for the Sanctuary Villa, roughly the same cost as the Serenity Villa.

What else can I say? I guess the ultimate compliment is that we wanted to get out and explore, though didn’t really want to leave our beautiful villa.

Just wonderful!

Villa was spotless, calm tranquility atmosphere. We could not pick a better place than here. It was heaven on the earth.
Interior was tasteful and subtle.
Amenities were really great products.
One of the best wine you can pick was waiting for us. 
So spacious and minimalist design really helps you to chill and forget about city life. 
One disappointment was we didn't stay long enough!!! Highly recommend you if you want to stay away from people. All you can see is breathtaking views and sunset was so romantic!!!
The best place I stayed in the country. 
All you hear is birds' chirping!

I will definitely go back to this amazing  place!

Magical experience!

What a view! We stayed 2 nights in the Serenity Villa, it’s nice and big and modern with a full kitchen and a separate lounge and dining room. There’s a big deck out the front with stunning views down to Victor Harbor and the coast over rolling hills. There’s lots of birds around and we saw some kangaroos as well as the resident alpacas, sheep and cows.
It’s a lovely secluded spot to base yourself but still be close to Victor and the rest of the Fleurieu Peninsula. We’ll definitely be back.
