We chose this hotel based on price, location and past reviews. If you’re looking for modern luxury this is not it however, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was warm, comfortable and well appointed. We didn’t have any meals here but did enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the lounge in front of a warm fire while overlooking the stunning views of the lake.

Stunning lake view

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. On arrival, I told the staff that the shower was leaking and that it was so loud that it would keep us awake. I was told that it would be fixed ASAP but it never was. On the final 2 days, we had no hot water and was told that we could use a shower in another bedroom.

There was no management in charge for the 4 nights I was there as I was continuously told that management (who was not on site) was dealing with it.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have stayed here before. About 4 years back. Found it underwhelming then. This time I opted for a superior room. There was nothing superior about the room. It was extremely dated, musty smelling and in need of substantial refurbishment. I gather the superior feature of room was the fold up bunks packed in on wall. 
Everything was tacky about my experience from first telephone contact. After giving details including card some weeks in advance receive email confirming not just your booking but fact your card has been charged and the payment is non refundable. Told of safe covid practice on booking in. Envelope with your details would be left on front desk. Actually it was better than that as reception was sort of manned so you had the opportunity to fill in a form with all those details you gave when booking in and confirmed by email. 
And yes they took your credit card details again. 
Complementary wifi does not work in room but will work if you strategically position yourself in restaurant area. 
Was informed a complementary continental breakfast was available. I looked at the mean offering before going downtown to eat in an excellent cafe. 
I would not have gone to trouble of writing a review had I not received a computer generated email headed “ Have you left something behind ?” Designed to get your attention. Nothing left behind but an attempt to apologise for staff shortages etc and stressing importance of a 10 out of 10 review. Insulting. I gave place one star as the view from the balcony outside was outstanding. 
I won’t be back.

Why did I come back.

What a find. Nestled into the hill at Jindabyne at the cost we weren’t expecting too much. Were we wrong. The room was spotlessly clean but the best is when you walk upstairs to breakfast and you get to see where their name came from. This room is amazing. Best value motel we’ve had on our trip.

What a suprise

Fantastic views great facilities rooms are wonderful cannot recommend it enough. Paddock full off kangaroo’s next door at dusk and great location overlooking the Lake will definitely be back thank you. 

Wonderful place to stay

As a summer location in Jindabyne this was an excellent choice!
With sweeping views over the lake and a great continental breakfast my wife and I were lacking for nothing.
Friendly management and clean rooms means we have nothing but compliments. Will definitely stay there again.

The Perfect Summer Location

My first stay at Panorama and I was very pleasantly surprised.  Very comfortable stay  with all the facilities of a ski lodge - but larger rooms and dinning/relaxation area.  The room was very clean, well equiped and the beds comfortable.  Breakfast was simple but tasty and good value.  Close to all of Jindabyne restaurants and on the right side of town for a quick exit for the days skiing. Will be back again next season :)

Very Comfortable Lodge

I stayed at the Panorama Hotel for the first time this year and found the hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are clean and comfy with great hot water pressure for the end of a hard day skiing. The staff were super friendly and helpful and even though they were short staffed they were always there to assist. The restaurant offers simple but really nice meals and the dining room and bar have the panoramic view that you won’t get elsewhere for the price. Breakfast buffet is great too. We will definitely return for our next ski trip

Hotel with a view

Bad experience, feel as though the motel was misrepresented. Certainly was very overpriced. Anton's a crackpot - was shouting at people in the hallway, upstairs, one evening. And, barged into the room once, without knocking. I was having a late arvo sleep after skiing all day. Rooms were in poor condition, and small. Bathroom was abhorrent. Was a mistake staying there.

Terrible

Panorama Jindabyne was a great place to stay in a quiet area of the town.

The view from the dining room was magnificent and the log fire was lovely sit next to in the evening.

The check in person was extremely helpful and took the time to show us two rooms to choose from.

Although more pricey than usual, we were happy to pay, as two other motels we tried to book in to didn’t have Managers/ check-in staff onsite (late afternoon) to assist us with our walk-in booking.
