We spent about 10 days here over the school holidays, in one of the two-bedroom apartments, and had a fantastic time.

Craig and Michelle are both dedicated to making sure everything is in order for their visitors, and are hard working and eager to please, going above and beyond in their thoughtfulness and their efforts to make sure we were well looked after.  I gather that they took over Pelican's Nest a bit over half a year ago, and it's obvious that they are working hard to do an excellent job all round.

The accommodation was neat and clean, and several special needs we'd asked about (e.g. DVD player) were attended to as well.  We were staying with an elderly parent who needed wheelchair/walker access, and the place we'd been allocated was perfect for that, including adjacent parking (even traffic cones to "protect" our parking spot when we went out touring).  Everything we needed was provided, including a linen change half-way our stay, and replacement towels every few days.

The location is terrific, just a few minutes walk from the river.  All in all, fantastic place to stay, highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay

After a bit trip from Perth to Exmouth and back in a hire car, of all the accomodation we stayed in, this place really felt like home! 
We had a family 2 bedroom fully self contained apartment and we had so much room for a family of four to stretch out and relax!
We had a washing machine and full kitchen to wash and cook. 
Michelle and Craig have really thought of everything in the rooms and as far as facilities, everything is just so CLEAN and tidy!!!

You can see they are flat out doing the place up and I can’t wait to make this a place to visit on our next trip to WA to see how it’s all looking!
Michelle and Craig could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble!
10/10 would recommend and will be back 😍

If you are visiting Kalbarri make this your place to stay!

Stayed two nights here.  Loved Kalbarri and loved the Pelican’s Nest. Craig was really helpful and the room was big, super clean and well appointed. The places has a relaxed and friendly feel and we would throughly recommend it. Comfy bed and pillow. Small kitchenette and somewhere to eat inside and out. Perfect! 

Great space

We stayed in a couple of different rooms (a 2 bed apartment, double and family room) during our stay at Pelican’s Nest, and it was great. Michelle and Craig are so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much of an ask when trying to accomodate us. The location of the complex is fantastic. It is walking distance to everything you need - coffee and the beach  300 metres away - what more could you want! The rooms/apartments  are super clean and have everything you need for your stay. The beds are really comfortable too! 

Local hospitality at its best!

Excellent stay! Lovely new owners, so friendly and welcoming. We booked a double room but had an extra person staying with us for the night so they put in an extra bed for us with no hassle at all. The rooms were super spacious and clean. AC was great and a lovely big balcony. Lots of free parking too and only a few.minutes walk from the beach and restaurants nearby also. Will definitely be back! 

Excellent stay!

Arrived late into town and host was kind enough to wait up for us.  Rather than returning to probably her own supper was kind enough to recommend things for us to do and places to eat.

Room was super clean and convenient.  Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Host

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts who also provide useful tipps and information about Kalbarri. When I broke off the shower head it got repaired in no time without any discussions. Clean rooms, good location. And they do recycling - doesn't happen everywhere!

Friendly hosts, clean place

When I walked into the room I was struck by the fresh smell and cleanliness. The bed we had could do with updating, as it felt very spongie.
The TV was small, for a room of that size. The microwave would be better if it was fitted to a shelf, rather than on the bench, taking up valuable bench space. 
I did like the way that the cutlery was safe inside a plastic storage.

Great place

At a moment’s notice we were able to get into this accommodation. Peter and Ann were very helpful. The accomodation is tasteful and very clean. It is really comfy. Peter suggested activities for us to do and recommended eateries. Instead we used the in-house bbq and enjoyed our stay

Pelican’s Nest

The staff could not have been more helpful, a warm welcome and reception was staffed until 7pm on a Sunday! 

Rooms were large and very clean, basic facilities but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Was a female travelling alone and I felt very safe
