We stayed for one night during a road trip. Sleep quality was good, even though the park is located on a busy road in a busy area. 
The cabin was very basic. I'm not sure how old this park and its cabins are, but the inside looks very dated, but hey, what matters is cleanliness. The place was very clean, which is great!
We were met by friendly owners who were very helpful.
Our cabin was number 10, not facing the road but rather facing towards Harvey Norman. This cabin offers the best uninterrupted view of the Harvey Norman sign that anyone could possibly want. 
The location has more positives, though, that being that the park is close to the CBD, fast food joints (KFC, McDonalds), countless shops, the lake, parks, a museum and so on. Close to everything and so close to Harvey Norman that you could simply stroll there if you feel like buying furniture or electronics on your holiday.

Central Location

me and my family were stayin in our caravan when one of the groundsmen (name was darren i believe) starts being extremly rude and says innapropriate jokes infront of my kids. after that the younger male that worked there (name was jake i think) comes up to us and apologises for darrens actions as he heard what he had said. this place would have been a 10/10 if it wasnt for that. 1/10 do not reccoment

worst worker ever

We stayed here as part of a group. The booking had difficulty as one person pulled out. I asked weeks before arrival for an early check in at 1300 (usually 1400) and got an unsympathetic reply. On the day 1300 was possible. Maybe the cabins were slightly cheaper than surrounding motels. The cabins were jammed close together. The cabins were manufactured by caravan manufacturer Jayco, so presumably built to caravan standard. We felt cramped. Three of the lights did’t work. Only one pillow each. No extra blanket. Only average cleanliness. Will opt out of the group booking if we come again and try a motel.

Not recommended

Excellent stay, clean and tidy cabins. Close to the centre and lake. Owners could be the nicest people you’ll ever meet. No issues what so ever during the stay. Only place to stay while in Shepparton.

Weekend stay

From the time I made our booking to the time I left the owner was so lovely. He’s really kind. The cabin was great. So clean and refreshing. The main bed was comfier than our new pillow top mattress. 
We will be back. 

Downside is the main road is the local drag strip.

Hole away from home.

We were fortunate enough to find the Riverside Cabin Park in Shepparton to stay as a jump off point to visit the Avalon Airshow. We arrived late from Canberra and the owners were more very obliging by staying around to give us our keys. Once inside the cabin was spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked brilliantly as it was still over 30 degrees at 9.30 pm. When we arrived back from the Airshow hot and dusty the pool was cool and clean. The park is near to shops and is easily accessed no matter the direction you are coming from. This is a great place to stay for families.

Great Place to Stay

Great place to stay. Basic cabin but clean with all you need to stay. Great pool to relax after hot day at Avalon Airshow. Staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating a late arrival on the Friday night. Would definitely come back.

Comfy and clean

We stayed for a week ahd the cabin was fine.   Clean and decent space.   Beds were comfortable and the AC worked during 40 degree heat!   The grounds are pretty basic (concrete mainly) and not really a place you would stay at to enjoy the ambience.    However the accommodation is at least average standard for cabins.  Good location as only a few minutes drive from the centre of Shepparton.  Also close to a bunch of shops.
Free WIFI worked well.

Would stay here again

We turned up for our booking ... and I promptly decided I would rather drive for an extra four hours home, rather than stay overnight here.  My partner did not have the option and stayed.  The cabins are clean ... but the location is hideous!!!   

Don't believe the website description "self-contained cabins in an attractive bush setting, on the banks of Broken River" ... the cabins are located in a shopping centre carpark, right on the highway.  The noise level was very LOUD in the bedroom, the concrete surroundings and cabins placed so that they looked into one another, very little parking space, crowded together, zero "privacy" .... shudder!!!  It didn't even have the convenience of being "in the vibrant town of Shepparton" (from their website) as it was a couple of kilometres from the centre of the town.

They were going to let our dog stay on the veranda ... but when we realised that it meant she was going to have to be in a hot carpark with cars driving past and no security, there was no way we would leave her outside for a night (even though she is crated).

The quality and cleanliness of the cabins were fine ... I can't give a one rating because they did at least do that well ... but their website is misleading about the setting.

If you are looking for a cabin IN a carpark for an overnight stay and you're not fussy and can sleep through road noise, then maybe consider it ... but be warned!!!
