Wanted a weekend away. Managed to get one of the cabins on the beach here in Kiama. Just amazing location. So peaceful and relaxing and only 90 minutes from Sydney. Arrived Friday afternoon and was enjoying a bbq dinner on the deck watching the ocean as the sun went down. Woke up to the sun rising over the Pacific Ocean after a great nights sleep listening to the waves crashing on the beach. Best way to get away and relax.

THE POSITIVES …..
We stayed for two nights in cabin 4 which is in the front fiw facing the beach. We absolutely loved the experience and found the cabin extremely clean and the grounds were well maintained.
The site has FREE Foxtel Sports so you can watch all NRL games.
The staff are courteous & friendly.

THE NEGATIVE ….
The WiFi did not function at all most f the time and very poorly when it did connect.

Fantastic place to escape for a break …..

Cabin 23 was like walking into a time warp in 1970's. It was absolutely depressing, filthy, and cockroach infested. The lounges were filthy and should have been dumped at the local rubbish tip

We stayed at Kendall’s on the beach in our van, sadly for one night as passing through. In the short time we were there, we had the friendliest reception, most helpful staff, sorted my IT problems, I wrote emails while overlooking the beach, could not recommend more highly. The position is magic on a cove, public beach but feels like it belonged just to us. Thanks guys we will be back as promised xx Margie

This place does not know how to run a caravan park,   first of all I had to ring and ring and ring all morning before anyone picked up the phone. Then they  had some stupid rule that people could only book in for 2 nights on weekends. When i asked why  I have never heard of this rule, the lady on the other end said abruptly cos its the rules thats why Not good phone manners    she then said we are all booked up in a loud voice    really this is not a good look i will never ever inquire again little goto this park again total turn off    you guys might want to fire your rude staff and hire freindly staff that know what there doing     you may get more people conming to your park

We stayed 4 nights in a "3-bedroom Garden Spa cabin" to give my wife a bit of luxury in the spa bath. We were one of the lucky ones to be able to park right next to our cabin. We had a view of the water from our balcony, through the bushes. The cabin itself was more than big enough for us but might be a bit of a squeeze if the max of 6 guests were in there. The park itself is tidy & well maintained. If intending guests follow the directions given to find the entrance it's quite easy - if not, good luck! ALSO, if you intend walking to the local shops, it's all uphill!

A bit of luxury

A good location on the beach and within reasonable walking distance of the main commercial area and central attractions of the town. The toilet block and camp kitchen are modern although basic maintenance would help. In the shower cubicles for the men, hanging hooks were missing. Minor, yes, but also frustrating. The park is pretty good but a bit plain in the area behind the toilet block where we were. On our first night we could hear the waves crashing but for the next two, there was a non stop and intrusive fan noise emanating from the toilet block. A bit disappointing.

Ok place to stay

Cannot recommend this enough, the location is fantastic.  Just walk to the beach in 10 seconds,  and  you can also cycle to the town.   Big shout out to Kate who was absolutely wonderful in resolving what could have been an issue for us.    Best customer service we have experienced at a caravan park,(or anywhere else) we felt welcomed and looked after.    Can't wait to return and spend more time here.

Best Place in Oz.

I spent one night here in my motorhome. As the name suggests. it is on the beach. The beach is small and protected. The site was large and level. It had a plastic mesh covering so it was completely clean. The surrounds were grassy. The amenities block was large and clean. There was a playground for children but it appeared to be public and outside the park. My site was not cheap. At $50 for the night it was among the most expensive I have stayed at.
