Beautiful old pub with lodging. Very close to lake Leake. Owners were very hospitable and we enjoyed our stay. Lots of wildlife around. Room was pleasant and clean. Lodging has a breakfast and tea/coffee bar which is complimentary and the pub is very rustic and cosy.

Booked in for a family 80th Birthday party as it was a central area for families to meet, We had a table of 12, the service was friendly, very helpful and nothing was a problem, great selection on the menu and specials board all meals came out hot and there was not a complaint from anyone, fabulous food. We had a cake and they provided plates and everything we needed. Great Atmosphere. What a little Gem in a beautiful part of Tassie, would highly recommend.
P.S If you're lucky you may get to pat the most amazing dog ever.

Was looking for a halfway location to explore the East Coast. This place ticked all the boxes, central location for day trips to the East Coast when all accommodation was booked out or way overpriced.
Great friendly staff.
Clean rooms and amenities.
Cold beer.
But above all the meals are absolutely first class, the best steak I’ve had in years….

Great location, great food

We stayed behind the Hotel in our Van & we didn t need amenties, as there was Toilet in the Pub. We both had Parmy, Chips & Salad. We waited half an hour, even though no one else had ordered at the same time. The Meals was nice but over priced for a Country pub at $30 each. A lot of Town places charge less & the Parmy was only a Coles Supermarket one. We know as the Truck was delivering supplies at the time. The husband & wife was doing the Bar & cooking as well. The husband was swearing in the Kitchen in ear shot of our table. They was not friendly & didn t smile all night we was there. At least the Dog was lovely & friendly. We won t be returning until they ve gone. This place changes Publican's every couple years.

If you want a good steak go no further my husband said it’s the best one his ever had! 
Chick parm was also amazing and the mushroom gravy omg! Would be here every week if we could

Great food wow

Lovely old world charm, food was amazing, owners Troy and Ann were very warm and pleasant to deal with. Lake Leake Inn. Is half hrs drive to Swansea and 55 mins to Coles Bay. Phone reception is not good tho unless your Providore is Telstra

Waited 2 hours for my steak only to turn up tonight to cut bloody instead of the well done steak I ordered. It wasn't even a full house. Ask for refund and drive out of there hungry and disappointed. And we had planned for this get together for awhile now

Poor service & tough as boot steak

The Food and drinks were great. The new Managers amazing and friendly. Value for money food and drinks wise. The rooms however were over priced for what they were. Hopefully the new managers will add bar fridges, kettles and toasters to each room.

Nice place to visit

What a beautiful old pub set in a bush setting at Lake Leake. So authentic, warm and friendly. Great food, delicious and value for money and excellent drop off point between Campbell Town and Swansea. Take the time to check it out. Well worth the drive. Good luck to the new owners Troy and Anne who will bring new energy and ideas to this pub.

Great hidden gem with heaps of Tasmanian History!

An old country building in mostly original condition, the new owners are in the middle of updating it for guests. But it's the atmosphere that makes this place special. It's like walking in to a welcoming family home. Luke and Jenna are very relaxed and friendly, and so are the locals who fill the bar up most nights.
