would like to give these apartments the thumbs up.looked for somewhere to stay in lakes most were really bad,, 2 older couples travelling together. well very happy with this place ,spotless ,friendly, 2 bedrooms comfy beds, everything we needed and walkin shower also was on the ground floor .the manager milk was lovely, thankyou for making us welcome  we stayed again on our return trip as well

great clean place to stay

Clean, quite, spacious , good layout, comfortable beds, appointed with 2 bedrooms , kitchen, dinning and lounge, bathroom with laundry. Nice sea breeze through windows, views of the lake, close to Main Street. Staff were helpful and accommodating.

Positives-
Great views from the living areas of the lake. 2 x Decent size bedrooms. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Clean linen. 
 Small living area and dining table for 4 people. Small TV in living room.

Kitchen has 1x tea towel, cups, cutlery, 1 sponge, fridge, kettle, microwave. All clean.
Bathroom with liquid soap and shampoo. Washing machine- bring own laundry liquid.

Free parking.

Great location. Lake across the road. Aldi 5 minute walk. Cafes within 5-8minute walk.

Free wifi.

Negatives- 
no fly screens on the bedroom windows. When we checked in, windows all open. The breeze was lovely however did not like finding insects in the room. Found little spiders in my bed. 
Also the screen door was broken, which meant it kept swinging back and forth in the wind.
Narrow winding staircase to the 2nd floor. Do proceed with caution when carrying bags.
Spiderwebs on swimming pool gates as well as the edge of swimming pools. Pools not heated. No spa.
Surcharge for 3rd person. Abit pricey, but I guess that’s normal post Covid and since it’s December.

Would stay again. Would recommend.

Great location

Check in is via attached motel on The Esplanade, very friendly and helpful receptionist. Arrived early and was able to check in. 
We had a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. Apartment was very comfortable,clean and had everything we needed to cook all meals while there. 1 room with queen bed the other had 1 queen and 1 single bed. There is a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom as well as a bath and separate shower. Straight across the road from North Arm and a couple of minutes walk to Aldi and a comfortable walk into town and nearby cafe and restaurants. There were 2 pools but on checking on them before having a swim we found them dirty and low in water (so no swim for us)
A couple of downsides:we found the beds very hard and the street out the front is rather busy and noisy during the day but does get better at night.

Three night stay

Stayed here with three kids. A bit of fabulous retro, for an apartment with water both sides, washing machine, drier, kitchen and full bathroom it's definitely value for money. Walking distance to shops and food.

Great place

Stayed in two bedroom apartment . Happy with size and cleanliness . Bathroom good size , adequate kitchen, dining area. Outside was a different story, glass entrance to apartment was filthy and several cobwebs on corners, two pools in complex and both were filthy. Main larger pool area was disgusting, sun lounges had mattresses  on them that were filthy and torn , lounges themselves were filthy once you took the cushions off. One of the smaller pools that feed into the larger pool had algae growing up the walls  and the paved area needed weeding. The smaller pool area in front of the apartments was even worse. Pool dirty , spiders and cobwebs between water level and top of pool, mini gutter runs inside pool along the side was full of dirt. Three chairs that were there to be sat on , were rusted that much, it would be dangerous to sit on any of them. BBQ are needed a clean as hot plate looked like it had not been cleaned for 6 months. Again pavers around pool area were overgrown with weeds. Summary, had no problem with the room but the grounds needed an  urgent clean up and replacement of chairs and mattresses on the sun lounges.

CLEAN INSIDE UNKEPT OUTSIDE

The views are amazing of Lakes Entrance from the top story units - morning sunset perfect. These budget friendly 70s décor units are perfect for the bed and the position. Clean with comfortable beds and basic amenities. Who wants to stay in the room anyways when visiting the beaches, cafes and attractions!

Budget and Family Friendly

Stayed with the family as a stopover. Quite clean, however very dated. Only concern is the paper notes blue-tacked to the walls, warning about cooking anything that has a smell, or not washing the dishes. Very unusual for a self contained apartment? Not sure if we are expected to wash our linen and scrub the shower before we leave as well? Maybe we need to fold a neat little triangle on the date-roll too?

What can we cook?

Easy to find, great and helpful staff, good location. 2-bedroom apartment clean with freshly refurbished bathroom (with plenty of space for all soaps, shampoos, make-up etc). Fresh towels every day. The beds too soft for my liking, but it would be ok for others.As we are family of 5, i would love to have better equipped kitchen- oven did not work,  limited pots and pans, missing cutlery and plates, however got more of each on request. A/c only in the sitting room, so the rooms were pretty warm in the night. 
Apartment  has clean furniture but  quite dark with dark  brick walls (some other apartments are painted white, which is nicer).
Two nice  swimming pools, however the pool loungers were quite dirty and the mattresses were old, ripped and dirty. i had to put pool towels over to sit down...

Christmas getaway

We stayed in a downstairs holiday apartment which had water views. It was clean and comfortable even if a bit outdated. The kitchen was certainly adequate and there was a dining area and a spacious lounge area. The bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. We had off street parking. A family would be comfortable in the apartment but it is not luxury accommodation......but very good and affordable for a family.
