My husband and I stayed at Coastal Waters Motor Inn with our two babies on our first visit to Lakes Entrance. The location is within walking distance of shops and the beach, so you can explore along the town center or you can go on the cruise or visit the nearby caves, then come back and have a dip in the private guest-only pool or catch your own fish and grill them in the BBQ area. 

The room is incredibly clean, looks even more beautiful and spacious than in the photos, the mini kitchen area is abundantly stocked, the linen is soft, pillows are fluffy — my husband and I are shocked at how RESTED we are. We hate to be leaving, but are happy we chose to spend our Christmas holiday here. The establishment is owned by a family, and they are very lovely, polite, and respectful. We stayed for three nights.

Restful Christmas Dream

The owners are fantastic, polite and informative, being strangers they advised on places of interest.
Room 4, spotless, good size, with fridge, microwave and kettle, plenty of storage space, large TV and air conditioning.
WC, shower and washing facilities are all working and clean.
Furniture, two comfy recliner chairs, dining table and two chairs, a mirror my wife would love to own.
The bed is subjective, good width and comfortable for me.
Parking is no issue, there is a solar heated pool to enjoy.
We found the location perfect, easy to walk to the main beach and many shops along the strip.
So if you are looking for an up to date motel in Lakes Entrance this is a good choice 

Coastal Waters Lakes Entrance,Excellent 

The moment I opened the door to the room I knew I made the right decision to stay here.  Room is spacious, very clean, nicely done.. you immediately knew the owner has painstakingly ensure that guests will be well taken care of.
Location is perfect, restaurants and Aldi/Woolworth 5 minutes drive away.
My only regret is that we only stayed here for a night because we still have a long way to go.. (Sydney bound)

Lovely place.

So clean and comfortable, made to feel so welcome, roomy, pleasant surrounds. Everything supplied, bathroom a dream, shower so good. Even coffee maker supplied.
Pool looks great, too cold while we were there but so lovely to sit by, gardens small  but beautiful.

Relaxing break

We booked direct to this motel which gave us a little saving.  We had stayed here in 2019 and wow it’s had a facelift. The room was clean and inviting. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Clean friendly and great value for money

We booked a spa room which we found to be roomy, clean and comfortable.  The room was situated towards the rear of the facility and was very quiet, leading to a restful night. 
The pool was well presented and clean we found a swim a nice close to a  day travelling. 

Great spot for a one night or longer

Very accommodating hosts. Beautiful gardens and a nice private feeling pool. The king spa room was huge and very clean and comfortable. There were lots of draws and cupboard space and the bed was very comfortable. Two TV‘s, one with Netflix and comfortable recliners to watch from. A short walk to the beach and shops.

Excellent!

The property is even better than it looks in photos that were online. The gardens were beautiful. The buildings are typical late 20th century brick mock colonial. However, the 2 bedroom apartment was furnished and decorated with up to minute casual beach vibe furniture and decorative items.
The kitchen was very well equipped, including a Nespresso machine with coffee pods. Oil, salt & pepper, cling wrap, foil etc were all supplied.
Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows & extra blankets.
The property was spotlessly clean.
We chatted with the owners and they were delightful, really cared about the motel , even did the cleaning themselves.
They’d been too busy to upload new interior photos so do not be put off be slightly out of date looking furniture.
A great location for beach, shops etc

Fabulous apartment

We traveled for five weeks in Australia.  Coastal Waters Motor Inn was by far the best accommodation we had during our entire holiday.  Quite possibly the best we have stayed anywhere in the world.  (Pre-Covid we traveled internationally quite a bit .)

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Michael, one of the owners.  He provided lots of information about the area and things to do during our five-nights in Lakes Entrance.  Michael walked us to our room.  When he opened the door the first thing we smelled was something clean and fresh.  The towels were big, fluffy and there were more than enough.  The decor is well thought out with soothing colors.  The bed and lines were top of the line and very comfortable. Our room was a lovely size with room for all our stuff.

The grounds are lush.  It felt like we were in a tropical paradise.  The pool and surrounding area was a lovely place for an afternoon dip and soak in the sun.

If you cannot be comfortable and happy here, I would venture a guess you can't be happy anywhere.  We had our happiest days of our time in Australia here.  Tracey works hard to make sure everyone has a wonderful experience.  Coastal Waters Motor Inn is a labor of love by Michael and Tracey in every incredible detail.  My only wish is that I could give more stars.

Christmas 2022 will be fondly remembered for years to come.

10 Stars!

As we arrived after a long day of driving we were met with a smile and excellent ideas for dinner! The room was fantastic. So fresh and clean. We even enjoyed the spa! Thank you for having us. Will be back!
