Did not enjoy our stay at all. Upon arrival, we immediately were overwhelmed with the smell of dog in the reception area which was also very cluttered. The hotel staff that managed our check-in was Ms Personality Plus! Our room was ready but that is probably the only positive to mention. Shower pressure was absolutely ridiculous and there was a lot of wasted water and time to try and get any sort of comfortable temperature. We ordered breakfast, $12.50 for a full breakfast which sounded great. When it arrived the food was hardly recognisable. All we could assume was it had been cooked the night before and reheated in the morning. It was not edible!   For $110 a night, you would expect much better accommodation. Would definitely steer clear of this place. 

Fawlty Towers comes to Leongatha 

Its  a shame that this motel doesn't get better ratings. It has potential - however, as others have stated Reception is not at all professionally run and there is an overwhelming odour of dog. This does not give a good first impression. The room we were in was clean and  comfortable and there was a good supply of toiletries and even the option to buy a bottle of wine. However, if there is one thing which is essential in my opinion it is a good supply of hot water for a relaxing shower. Sadly not here - pressure was non existent and there was no danger of being scalded with the luke warm water. No cold was necessary. I checked with others in our group - thinking that it may have just been our room, but everybody had the same problem. This is not a new problem and neither is the smelly office - they are long term problems which have not been attended to. As I was part of a group someone else had booked us in - I would certainly not have chosen this motel had I read the reviews!

Motel needs to heed reviews

Although when you arrive you would think this will be horrible, I was pleasantly surprised by the Clean room, comfortable bed and general surrounds.  It was very quite and peaceful, short walk to the RSL for really nice country dinner.  Shower water could have been hotter but OK.  I had a budget room so the bed was a bit old but still good.  Would stay again.  Staff should work on her people skills.

Comfy hotel tucked away from the rush of the city.

I do not normally leave reviews but this was a truely terrible experience.Arrived at 9.30pm after leaving work late. No one was around to check us in, repeatedly called the after hours number to no avail.
After an hour of trying to work something out, eventually had to find a different place to stay. Luckily the caravan park next door was very accommodating and welcomed us.

The next morning the owner of the motel called us and yelled at me over the phone, was extremely sexist and derogatory over the phone.

Rude staff

The service is negative 100, the worst I have ever received. 
DO NOT GO HERE
arrived at 9.15pm, to call the after hours number to which there was NO answer, I proceeded to call for another hour, knock on all staff doors to no answer! 
At 10pm at night, with a family of 5 I had to search for accomodation! 
Furthermore, when I called them the following morning to make sure they won’t charge my account, they were the rude, defensive and downright horrible and accusing me of disrespect! 
If you have any self respect, dignity or enjoy simple service, DO NOT GO HERE!!

TERRIBLE

Nice facilities but a very rude and unaccomodating receptionist.  When I asked if she wanted me to pay the bill early as I was checking out early, she said she was closed and I would have to stay till 8am when reception opened again,  I did this and it almost made me late for work.  When I went in she said she tried to call me (which she didnt) and that I must have put the wrong phone number down.  Ill happily retract this part of the review if you send me a photo of the form I filled out where I wrote down my number.
