Came here for a wedding! The rooms were stunning, everything in the kitchen worked perfectly and the bath was unreal. The nearby tasting room was staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people, shoutout to Ember for her excellent recommendation, the wine was so popular it went in under 5 minutes.

Excellent experience 

We stayed in the Shiraz room in the Homestead
Beautiful bedroom, bed super comfy, great shower, well equipped kitchen and lovely views. However the heating from the air conditioner just couldn’t get the temperature up enough to heat the space. The air conditioner vent looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a couple years. I mentioned to staff how cold we were but was it wasn’t taken seriously. I was just told to adjust the settings - which didn’t work. 
I sent them an email a few days later but never received a response. For $350 per night I expected to be warm but was cold the entire time

Good but could do better

So loved everything about our Total Relaxation treatment in the beautiful Day Spa building from Erin’s beautiful greeting, Dzeni’s 5-star communication to finishing with champagne and platter overlooking the vineyards. Total bliss thank you.

Day Spa

We were given a night's accommodation as a gift to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.  Longview is located in Macclesfield in the Adelaide Hills.  We stayed in the Vineyard suite which had amazing views of some of the vineyards.  The room had a king-size bed, a small kitchenette,  reverse cycle air-conditioning with a large television on the wall.  There were provisions for you to cook your own breakfast.  Bacon, eggs, tomatoes, granola,  juice, milk,  bread, jams, tea and coffee and soft drinks.   We were also given a bottle of Longview Shiraz to enjoy.  They have a Cellar door where you can have lunch or just do some wine tasting.  The grounds are surrounded with lush green grass and vineyards. If you are lucky you might even spot some kangaroos. I would highly recommend this place for the perfect getaway and you can even treat yourself to their relaxing Day Spa

Beautiful place in the Adelaide Hills

After a hectic week we arrived at our accommodation (Vineyard suite) to find a  well-appointed unit with a deck overlooking the endless vines. The room is spacious, with a king-size bed (firm, but not uncomfortable) and plenty of room to sit or put any personal belongings. The bathroom is also a good size, with a huge shower, fluffy towels and in shower hair and body care products.  
 The kitchenette was fitted out with all the essentials: we cooked our included eggs and bacon and tomato in the morning, on the  BBQ outside accompanied by a yummy loaf of artisan bread and jam, as well as a nice plunger coffee.
All staff at the winery that we dealt with at the time of booking and check out were extremely friendly and helpful.
The winery has a secluded and relaxing feel to it, waking up to the sounds of birds was just what we needed.   We will be back for longer next time.

Wonderful getaway

The Accomodation was fabulous. The unit looks out over the vineyard and bush hills in the background. Wonderful breakfast supplies and great spa bath (nice to enjoy one again). There a number of different units but each has a view of the vineyards. I’d love to come back.

Great breakfast and place to stay

I have been communicating with Longview Winery for a while now as a possible wedding venue in 2023. I must say they been have so friendly and helpful with the process. I emailed them a bunch of questions about the wedding venue and they replied very quickly and with great detail. I look forward to meeting with them in person and seeing their beautiful winery !

Customer service

Lovely atmosphere, enjoyed walking around property, lovely bottle of savigion blanc, great bocce game. The breakfast provisions were great and loved the bed.
Rooms a bit dated, stains on carpet, walls marked, we were looking forward to sleeping with drapes open, but neighbouring units left outside lights on all night, no TV reception or radio, but well used the free WiFi.

Great relaxing night away

What a great place in midst a vineyard. At arrival we got to choose a bottle of wine to take to our room for the evening. Wine tasting was for free as well. ( cheeseboards to be ordered in advance ) 
The rooms are great and very modern and clean with a big shower and a kitchen with hob and microwave and all you need to cook yourself a great breakfast that is provided. The suites do all have a veranda to sit outside. I’d recommend to bring food along to cook yourself a light dinner or maybe they provide a package? You will  have to  to ask and order in advance. 
There is a local pub too a short drive away.

Fantastic accommodation at a great place

We spent last Sunday afternoon at the Cellar Door, enjoying wine tasting (6 wines) and a lovely cheese platter. Although it was quite busy at the time, our server was cheerful and knowledgeable (even a "skipped" wine was quickly brought out, without missing a beat), and we ended up joining the wine club. After the relaxing afternoon, we checked into our Vineyard Suite, a well-appointed unit with a deck overlooking the endless vines.  Even the kitchenette was fitted out with all the essentials:  we cooked  our included eggs and bacon and tomato in the morning, accompanied by a yummy loaf of artisan bread and jam, as well as a nice plunger coffee.  The room is spacious, with a king-size bed (firm, but not uncomfortable) and plenty of room to sit or put any personal belongings.  The bathroom is also a good size, with a huge shower, fluffy towels and almost all the amenities (but where was the soap? Just the pump hand-soap, and squeeze-bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower, and two nice lotions, but no shower soap!)  So, with only that one small omission, perhaps just an oversight, everything else was well-thought-out and made the whole experience one we will hopefully  get to enjoy again.
