Very clean and comfortable, fully self contained chalet. Convenient position,  felt like we were in the bush, but still nice and close to everything. Easily could have stayed here for a week, or even longer! Check in and out was friendly, easy, good communication.  Recommend this for families, it would be perfect if you have kids.

Clean and comfy Margaret River stay

Had the most wonderful relaxing time at The Bushy Lakes Chalets. Stayed in the Heron Chalet, it was perfect and the scenery and ambiance was just amazing! Thank you so much for a great weekend. Alreadly looking to book again, but its pretty choccers :)

Cant wait to return!

Absolute perfection! We have stayed here a couple of times, most recently in the studio and it is just wonderful! The chalet is large, comfortable and warm. Extremely clean, quiet, peaceful and there is everything you could want, including shampoo/conditioner etc which is cruelty free...the only type we use, so thank you:) The owners are very friendly and bend over backwards to be helpful and in our case to fulfil a surprise birthday booking! There is no place better and we can't wait to be back!

Pure bliss!

We stayed in one of the studio chalets and were very pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the chalet. The full kitchen was wonderful and the BBQ was brilliant on the verandah. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the towels and spa were luxurious. We had such a wonderful stay we really didn’t  want to leave. 
The chalets are located in a great position, close to town, the beach and the wonderful features of the region.
Communication with Rob was fantastic from the moment we booked and Luke was super helpful during our stay. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Bushy Lakes again.

Fantastic Chalet in a beautiful setting

We stayed in a three bedroom cottage with another couple and loved everything about it.  This is our second stay having visited a few years back.  It has everything you need for a comfortable stay - spacious living area, comfortable beds, lovely hot showers, a log fire for a winter’s stay, a lovely Verandah overlooking the bush and a lake.  It also has a separate spa bath also overlooking the bush.  The owners are very helpful too.  It is not luxurious but clean, extremely spacious and comfortable and is in a great location half way between town and Prevelly. Absolutely recommend a stay here!

Great place to stay

Bushy lake chalets fully deserves all the 5 star ratings it has received. We chose to stay here based solely on all the wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint. Many thanks to our lovely hosts Mel & Rob who were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again on any future trip to Margaret River.

Delightful chalet

We stayed in Gannet and we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the chalet. It will easily accommodate a family without being crowded. The chalet was fully equipped with everything you need. It was impeccably clean. It is just out of town which adds to its appeal and close to all of Margaret River’s attractions. We will definitely return for another stay when we are allowed to cross regions again.

Lovely quiet setting

Location good, a little out of the way but as long as you have a car it's fine. The unit was clean and comfortable, I just felt it was really overpriced for the age/condition of the property considering other properties in the area and comparing price.

Nice and quiet

We spent 4 glorious nights at one of their chalets - Sandpiper. The chalets are immaculate and I was amazed at how well equipped they were. They have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. The chalet was extremely roomy and so quiet. Each afternoon we had a cute kangaroo come to visit us which made our stay extra special. 
The location seems to be in the middle of nowhere until you turn around the corner and you get the town centre in one direction and the most glorious beachside cafe in the other direction - all within 5 minutes!  Wineries abound and the hosts are warm and friendly. Will definitely be our stay of choice when we return to this glorious part of Australia.

A wonderful choice in Margaret River region

R & R paradise.
Stayed in Kingfisher, one of the 3 bedroom Chalets.
These are more like a holiday home, super roomy open plan living.
Stunning view and tranquility, we honestly felt like we were the only people on the property even though we know the other chalets were full. We honestly could have just stayed forever. Rob and Mel are so friendly and welcoming, they enjoy sharing their passion for their home town with all their guests. 
We will be certainly returning and sharing this little hidden gem with our family and friends.
