Lovely park. We had the double cabin it was brand new. Very clean comfortable bed. Laundry was good and cheap. Park is opposite a small shopping centre so everything was close and in walking distance. Can’t  fault the park at all and will definitely be staying there again.

Lovely Park

We took a SUPERIOR CABIN, newly refurbished. It was very comfortable inside, with everything for our comfort & convenience, and crockery & cutlery, pots & pans, all new & shiny. There was a small shopping centre almost opposite, where we could get Thai food. However, our cabin was situated right at the front of the van park, next to the Gympie road. In the evening the traffic thinned out by about 9 pm, so we were able to sleep, but in the morning the trucks started at about 4.30-5am, so no beauty sleep was had after that time. We moved our bed across to the opposite wall, and made the head end towards the park, not the road, which helped a bit. We also left the aircon on low all night, to create white noise. Retrospectively, I would take an older cabin that was further from the road. The noise levels could be helped somewhat by a noise reducing barrier at the front of the park. 
Another small issue was that the steps up to the small front verandah jutted just slightly into the parking area for the car, so I had to be very careful not to hit the bottom step when coming or going. So ask the position of your cabin when you book, to avoid the noise problem.

Comfortable cabin but in a very noisy position.

We stayed for 10 days on a powered site and would really recommend a visit, especially if you are travelling with pets. Spotless amenities and residents were very friendly and cheerful. The manager went out of his way to introduce us to the attractions of Maryborough.

Friendly little park.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, finding us a great site for the night at a very busy time when we unable to find anywhere last minute. It had everything we needed. I can recommend this park and would happily stay again next time when we pass through.

Friendly staff

This was the 3rd time that we stayed at Huntsville and even with 4 years in between it is a great park to stay at.
The manager is very knowledgeable about his town and doesn't mind sharing.
The Cabin we stayed in was not overprized but clean and comfortable.

Must stay

Was adequate for overnight stay, manager was helpful. However facilities are aged and the number of permanent vans that were run down detracted from the overall experience. Left feeling a bit let down.

Quite tired

The manager was very helpful, personally walking us to our parking spot and assisting us with the BBQ facilities. The amenities were clean but the laundry machines were a bit expensive in comparison to other parks. We had a drive-in powered site and overall, it was comfortable for an overnight stay.

Overnight motorhome parking

Well situated handy to Maryborough, Barry the manager more than helpful, amenities a bit dated but clean, soap dispensers would be handy plus a hand dryer, very quite you can hardly hear the main road, good shops across the road, butcher, baker food store etc.hotel next door, we'ii be back.

Recent visit

Has a hotel /Pub backing onto property , a little noisy ,didn't bother me ,Clean Amenities but some hand cleaner, Hand towel/ Blower would help when using toilet, , plenty of shady spots through out park, very helpful with information

Mostly Quite

This Pet Friendly park on the outskirts of Maryborough offers a comfortable and peaceful location for the weary traveller. Rates are very reasonable and the park is quiet despite being located on a major road.  The owner is an excellent bloke for the business and is not only friendly and accommodating, but is a mine of useful information about the town and surrounds as well.   The amenities are perhaps the one Achilles heel it has, for despite being kept clean and tidy, they do not offer any soap/hand-cleaner for the basins, nor is there any means of drying wet hands, while the tiles chosen for the floors are treacherously slippery when wet. Rubber bath mats placed in the showers would go a very long way towards removing the danger. The point of how bad it is was driven home to us when my wife slipped and fell headlong on the wet floor when entering a shower cubicle.  Generally though a nice park with attractive surrounds that is very well presented, although it's four acres of grounds are not served well by only three (as far as I could see)  security lights at night, so you need to be carrying a torch when traversing the roadways and grounds after dark
