The motel is perfectly located within walking distance to the Mornington Hotel, beach and wharf, restaurants,shops, and hospitals. 

The management and staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and well looked after.

The bed is a queen size and very comfortable. They have a microwave, kettle, and fridge, which is very handy.

The toilet is separate from the bathroom, which has a walk-in shower. I loved the natural light, ceiling fan, and lots of mirrors.  There was a lot of hanging space and drawers for clothes.

There was a table with two chairs and a day bed which was perfect for entertaining visitors.

The rooms were surprisingly quiet, and it felt secure as a big gate was dran across the entrance at night. You get a buzzer to open it if you went out after 800 pm.

I really like this motel and the price was excellent for the quality. 

Cosy, Clean and Comfortable 

Clean and serviceable not expensive. Basic. No ability to wash up and shampoo and conditioner combo plastic packs that are impossible. Recommend taking own toiletries because not even a dispenser on wall of shower. Plus is location close to town and not a long walk to beach

We stayed 2 nights and paid $150 per night which is about as cheap as it gets.
Pros
Great position close to shops and restaurants on Main street.
The rooms are small and modest but look like they have had a recent lick of paint and new blinds.
Good shower and fairly comfy bed
Good security with entry by remote after about 8.30 pm

Cons
Way overpriced but Mornington is severely lacking in accommodation choices so they can charge whatever they want.
Seriously disgusting cracked wooden toilet seat, I can't imagine how many germs it harboured... yuck , and the toilet leaked constantly. Overdue for an upgrade for sure.



OK if you just want somewhere to sleep and shower. Good position

We were looking for a quick overnight stay in the area, and the Mornington Motel was perfect. Quick check-in, parking right outside the room, spotless room and enough room for our family of four, with our two kids sharing the sofa bed. Fridge, microwave, good shower, effective heating. Would definitely stay again.

Simple, older-style motel that was perfect for us

Stayed here because it was close to the Bays Hospital but found so much more. 
This a fantastic older style motel at a great price. The decor was modern and very clean and you can tell they keep up with maintaining the rooms. 
Just a 5 minute walk to some very nice restaurants, supermarkets and specialty shops. It is also a ten minute walk to the beach and pier
I might have booked this motel for a doctors appointment but l will definitely be back for a longer stay to do some exploring. 
Staff are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. 

Great location 

It has a very good location, was very clean, and was reasonably priced.  However the pool was closed.  It was 18 March and 26 degrees.  And tv reception was bad.  Didn't receive any ABC or channel 10 stations.

This motel is not four star but it was clean and neat and did the job. The rooms are small but clean and well decorated. (too bad about the toilet seat that was not fixed as it should have been)  but overall basic but good. The WiFi worked well and the pool was good.

Basic But Good

I am visiting from New Zealand and I contacted the motel to ask a question about their swimming pool and got a very rude response back. Terrible customer service experience and I will never stay there in the future. Extremely disappointed.

I booked this motel for a week in between leaving our home and a trip to New Zealand, prior to returning to London.  My son stayed on an extra few days, as he didn't want to come with us. 

We received excellent service, the room was fantastic, we got an upgrade to a 3 bedroom apartment (my son would later move to a standard room).  In summer you have use of the pool, it is within easy walking distance to all of the shops in Mornington and the beach.  A great place to base yourself.  Highly recommend.

Rooms were all clean and no complaints at all.

Great Place to stay when visiting the mornington penninsular

Regularly go to Mornington and only found this gem of a place on this trip. Very clean, comfortable, very well priced and in an outstanding location, this motel will be a place of choice for us in the future.
