For the price the accommodation it was outstanding value. Located next to the cafes and literally across the street to the beach. The rooms were comfortable and big enough for the two of us. We also got lucky with some Spring sunshine!

Loved it!

Came with my two kids and appreciated that they have a bit of choice on the kids menu which is very reasonably priced. I had the fish and chips and thought it was very nice, not too oily with lots of chips and salad that came with it. It was a good pub meal. 

Family dinner

Food was terrible.

The stuffed lamb were tasteless.

The Stuffed cabbage rolls awful ( full of cruchy raw onion, filling too dense, under seasoned, the sauce was too acidic.

Price of wine was good value.

Not for me.

Not worth wasting a lunch on.

the usher was rude but the meal was good. we also walked out upon arrival. if you dont have an booking, you may not get a meal there. the toilet (male) needs an upgrade.
the dress code for the staff was quite casual-almost beyond belief.

pub meal

We came to Stella's after a few hours at the beach on the 14th January and the food was well made. We ordered garlic bread, a salad (as it was hot) and linguine pasta. All of it arrived promptly. After our meal we noticed the front bar and had a quick drink. It was a great refuge from the intense summer heat.

Summer lunch

Terrible overpriced reheated food. Chef apologized that her microwave must not be working properly when my husband sent back his cold “slow cooked lamb shanks”! Lamb cutlets were ok, duck was terrible, bolognese was bland and oily. Bread was the best part of the meal. So expensive for what it is. Try the RSL instead!

Awful

A few tips that might assist if you're staying. They have plenty of parking at the back, so no need to cross a busy street with your bags. Try and book in advance as it gets very busy in the summer months as it's literally across the road from the beach. This was our first stay and I would come back and stay again.

I would return.

We really like visiting the area but find it hard to find accommodation that is reasonably priced. As it is very hard to find accommodation close to the beach for under $200 per night. The rooms were basic but large and clean. Room were  also quiet. In terms of food, my wife said she liked her fish and I thought my lasagne was rather good. We both agreed we would stay again. 



Value accommodation

The place was mostly empty on a Saturday night  - no wonder. Rude staff, very ordinary food. The waitress actually stated "We don't make pizzas like that here. Read the menu" when one of our party asked for a half and half.  He then ordered a mushroom risotto which was oily and unedible. The woman who took our order did not listen to us, kept asking the same thing over and over, and we still got the incorrect orders. Given the place was empty, you would think they would be grateful for customers. Apparently we were just a big burden. Don't go there. Awful. 

Rude staff, ordinary food. Don't waste your money. 

We went and had dinner at Stella’s tonight.

Two people had the carbonara, one had fish of the day (snapper) and I had the pasta marinara.

I was told the carbonara was ok, the fish was a little dry and my marinara was ok.  The mussels, larger prawns and the Balmain bug in the marinara were good.  The smaller prawns were a little bland and the tiny scallops were rubbery.  All meals were a bit pricey.

The staff were friendly and the food came out hot and at the same time.

All up, it was ok but I would not return a second time.
