We stayed in Penninsular Caravan Park for 4 lovely quiet nights. Well maintained  very quiet park.
Lots  of permanent residents. Very good front security  gate.
Will stay again on any Melbourne family visit.

Great easy  living park

This cabin certainly wasn’t cleaned between guests, toothpaste in sink, oven doesn’t work, kitchen very dirty and your lucky I haven’t included a photo of the state the toilet was in 💩🤬🙀. Indoor pool freezing and outdoor pool green. Never again will we stay here. Managers rude response was to charge us to clean before being moved to another cabin🤬

Cleaners need more time to clean perhaps,DON’T  RISK THIS PLACE

Stayed here for 2 nights. First impression was good. The 2 bedroom cabin looked nice from the outside and when you first walked in it is spacious, had a full size fridge, washing machine and oven with was great however that was all that was positive.

The cabin was right next to the freeway and the noise was terrible. All night you could just hear traffic speeding past even with the windows closed it was very loud. 

One of the bedrooms was made up with linen well except for one pillow that did not have a pillow case so you could see the stains. The second bedroom was not made up at all. The mattress is very uncomfortable and thin, you could feel the springs underneath. 

The tv reception was terrible, kept going in and out.

And probably most disturbingly I found mouldy bread left in the cabin cupboard obviously from the previous occupants. There was a lot of dust on the blinds and food splashes on the kitchen walls. The cleanliness was the worst I have ever seen in a caravan park.

I have never left a negative review before and have been contemplating writing this but I’m hoping this may be used to improve the caravan park standards.

Disappointed

 Whilst our 2 bedroom cabin was roomy and well furnished maintenance and cleanliness both inside and outside were severely lacking. Shower had to be cleaned before using, blinds smashed and inoperable and kitchen utensils filthy and greasy. TV reception very limited with those channels available almost unwatchable due to picture constantly breaking up. Very poor value at over $200 per night. Cabin backed on to Freeway and noise was also an issue. Could definitely not recommend this establishment and we will certainly not be staying again.


A Big Disappointment 

Filthy accommodation. Wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. Atmosphere isn't the best either. Obviously many people live there on a long term basis. We found a lot of the occupants at the front of the village very hostile , rude & arrogant...Not a good welcoming on arrival.

OMG Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

We booked this place 6 months ago . I booked for a three bedroom deluxe villa and paid in full at the time of booking via Wotif. Upon arrival apparently someone decided a two bedroom would suffice. So we were shoved in a two bedroom shack that was falling apart, dirty , no stove , a  TV that’s 20cm wide that had such poor signal it doesn’t work. We had three adults and one toddler and were given one queen and bunk beds; the bunk beds were for the 75 year old travelling with us and toddler! :( 
So, one of our guests left because there was no room for her to sleep. The hotel refused to refund and accomodate as they were fully booked out. Wotif managed to get us a $200 refund for the week stay for the downgrade in rooms. But that didn’t make up for the hostility and disappointment we experienced. 
The place is understaffed , the manger changes every 3 months and is never there. No body really cares how this place is run. Speaking to people that have lived there we were told how poorly the places are cleaned and maintained ; including spraying the sheets with glen 20 as a form of cleaning the sheets. If you want comfort and cleanliness don’t go there ; if you want to camp rough then it’s fine. 
I won’t be going back!  

Holiday from Hell! 

Had I read all these negative reviews we would definitely not have booked. 
Oh well we did and we too had a very average cabin with dirty dishes, ripped couches, frayed blinds, towels in tatters. We stayed in September 2017 and at the time there was a really lovely couple managing the park, who had only been there a few days. They were very kind & did there best to make us comfortable. 
The outdoor pool was closed but the indoor pool open & clean & we had lots of fun and there is a big games room for kids.
The park is predominantly permanent tenants and I think the casual cabins are individually owned. It would be much better if the park owners/managers were more strict with the condition of cabins, furniture & cleaning, it was just not worth 'Deluxe' prices.
