Recently stayed a week during the Easter Break and what an enjoyable experience it was for us to stay at Beach Street Apartments. Our apartment was spacious, clean with excellent lake views. Excellent location and perfect for any type of traveller. Highly recommended for families. Peter and Elizabeth we're great to deal with and only ever a call away should they be required. Overall, we were a very happy family having stayed here :-)

Excellent

... we have previously stayed at Fishpen, over the other side of the lake.  This time we thought we would try somewhere different.  The unit was spacious and had the best views over the lake.  The owners were friendly and helpful with our stay.  

We were challenged without wifi as our phones were providing flakey service.  (Wifi is not free and charged for but you don't know what you will get?)  We did not check this on booking as we have come to expect free wifi as part of the deal?  ..

The location is on a busy corner, while this did not worry us, something to be aware of. YMMV

Good value, great views!

Very clean and spacious, lovely views from the balcony and very friendly and accommodating owner-managers Elizabeth and Peter. Decor is a bit dated, we were unable to connect to internet (third party provider at your cost, but connection failed) and mattress in our apartment was hard (purchased a foam underlay as we were staying for a few nights). Other than those minor niggles, I would definitely recommend Beach Street Apartments to couples and families as you will find yourself a fantastic central position directly opposite the water in a complex of only four well looked after apartments.

Good position, lovely view from balcony

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. The view over the lake opposite is really lovely. The apartment decor is a bit dated but that didn't really bother us as it was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our apartment had an ensuite with a spa bath which was nice. 
Unfortunately no included wifi which is a bit of a nuisance when you are travelling. 
Very friendly hosts, we would stay again.

Nice spacious apartment, with great view

At the beginning of the Beach Street at Merimbula, you just cannot go wrong. Small, only four appartments, so not being bothered by a gazillion tourists. View out the front lounge and master bedroom is delightful. 

Since arriving here, I have taken my morning coffee and breakfast cereal outside to the waterfront to enjoy. It is that close - see photos. The tide going out leaves lots of opportunities for the local birds to have a feed, so wildlife is plentiful. 

The walk to the main street is less than 10 minutes, so the car hardly leaves the car park. It's a bit tight and tricky at the beginning, but once you have the knack it isn't difficult. 

The apartment I chose is on the ground floor with the grassed area at my doorstep. There is a small garden with lovely flowers with seating to just sit and enjoy the serenity. Solar heated smallish swimming pool is also in the front yard and a bbq area complete with outdoor eating area. 

Large sliding doors ensure all the morning sun comes through and verticals allow for privacy. Two bedrooms, well equipped kitchen with all of the mod cons taken care of. Washing machine, dryer, kettle, etc. Just bring your food, beach towels and clothes and you are set. There is an ensuite to the master bedroom and in the main bathroom a lovely, large spa. Just BYO Epsom Salts or Bath Bomb and luxury awaits. I'm probably guilty of draining the hot water tank on several occasions, but that's what holidaying is all about. Upstairs there are the three other apartments.

The screen door didn't lock properly and as soon as I mentioned it to Peter (manager) he came over within thirty minutes and was fixing it. That is what having a serviced apartment is all about. 

Fresh towels and linen delivered, great. What more can I say, but just a delightful place to stay.

Nothing short of brilliant. Views, location, management, provisions etc

Beautiful views from main bedroom and lounge/kitchen.  Very clean, offering everything you need for a lovely holiday in Merimbula.  Close to beaches, shops & restaurants, easy walking distance to all.  Would not hisitate to stay again. Thank you Elizabeth.  Our Italian friends loved it.

Lovely

This is our 4th visit and every time we vow to come back, the apartment is superb and always spotlessly clean and comfortable. It is right opposite the lake and a very short walk into town. 
The owners always greet us like long lost cousins which starts us off on a good holiday
