Driving between Maleny and Montville there was a sign indicating Baroon Pocket Dam and whilst on this road we saw a sign indicating a winery, open and available for tastings.
We decided to have a tasting session ($12 per person/5 wines to taste).
The wine list was extensive (8 white wines, 10 reds and 3 desserts) and from those that we sampled, the winery has produced exceptional wines.
Views from the outdoor area are sensational.
Certainly worth visiting this place.

Great Venue

Visited here after speaking with a couple who had lunch the day before and raved of the wine and steak. We had a wine tasting which was nice before sitting down for lunch. After seating us the waitress told us there is no Steak, no Fish and no Risotto. Thus leaving duck, salad and a burger left for lunch. This is a Tuesday not a Saturday afternoon or Sunday why would you not have probably 2 of you’re most popular main meals? Also when we rang to put our lunch back half an hour you probably should have mentioned you had bugger all food left? Shame because we had a beautiful view from our table and the place gets great reviews. Cheers. 

No Food

A group of 5 friends and myself enjoyed a nice lunch along with a few bottle of Flame Hill Chardonnay today. 
We wanted to try a few other of their wines at a cellar door tasting but you would have thought I’d asked too for much. They normally charge $10 for a tasting of 5 wines but today because our group is more than 4 people we told we had to pay $15 each as well as sit outside in the cold. The waitress at the cellar door was extremely rude and did not try to accommodate us at all . We had just spent over $400 for lunch and was very disappointed not to be able to sample and buy more wine. I wouldn’t recommend this vineyard

What a disappointing end !

Went to winery for wine tasting ended up having lunch! Limited vegetarian options but I ended up ordering two sides. Smoked potato’s was so delicious n also the Mediterranean vegetables. 
Friendly staff. Haley gave us exceptional service. 


Delicious food

Visited winery as part of a tour.  Wines were of excellent quality but unfortunately staff let the experience down.  We arrived and were greeted with indifference and a feeling that staff wanted to go home.  We asked for a cheese platter and were advised that chef had left for the day.  Tour operator said it was included in the experience and had been booked ahead the day before.  Then cheese platter was produced, albeit without biscuits but then biscuits were found when requested.  Awkward and uncomfortable feeling.  Tour operator was very apologetic even though it was not his fault. 

Excellent wines but poor customer service experience 

This is the 2nd time my partner and I have visited here
I remembered the food was good and the service prompt
This last visit not so
My steak was over cooked and had too much vein
They lacked staff numbers, however the waitress we had was lovely 
We enjoyed the Chardonnay 


Quaint restaurant vineyard

There isn’t a lot one need for happiness. 2014 Tempranillo, a platter to share and an awesome location. There is also wine tasting and a bunch of idiots trying to act all sophisticated so if you are into people watching you are at the right spot! Staff is incredibly nice and friendly! 

Wine, food, scenery... 

We arrived on Saturday with no booking.. whoops (we are tourists here haha didn’t think we would need to book, how very naive). The waitressing staff were absolutely incredible regardless and managed to squeeze us in and treat us with the utmost respect and pleasantries! Much appreciated ladies! 

The food was impeccable, we thoroughly enjoyed both the beef and the pork mains. 

The wine was delicious, we even took a bottle home after 3 plentiful glasses 👌🏽🍷

Lunch 

Accommodation was great,just a short walk to vineyard,well appointed would recommend. But the only negative was no oven in the house. There is a microwave and good size fridge plus a wine fridge.
Montville is only a short drive away with plenty of eateries and a pub.
