A great place to stay
We were booked in here for two nights and were greeted warmly.
Phil told us some stories about the local area and farming over the years. It was amazing to see the camper trailer that Phil was in the process of building and his motor trike that was used for his wine tours.
The old cellar in the corner of the dining room  that was dug out from solid stone was fantastic to see ,along with the old building we slept in which was full of old world charm.

The accommodation was pristine and the bed was very comfortable.
We watched some dvd's (of which there was an abundant selection available, had dinner at the Local RSL Club one night and at The Winning Post restaurant the second night .
Breakfast served on the two mornings was fantastic, home made jams, a selection of fresh berries and fruit and even freshly squeezed orange juice.

We will be back to stay next time we are in Mudgee.

Two day visit to Mudgee

We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend staying at Phil and Sharon's beautiful bed and breakfast. They are wonderful hosts who have thought of everything a traveller could possibly need. A perfect two days.  

Home away from home 

This is a tremendous place to stay in Mudgee. Phil and Sharon are extremely friendly. The accommodation is spotless and a really good breakfast. Would recommend this place to anyone we find is going to visit the area.

Fantastic bed and breakfast

This place has the wow factor.The bed and linen are superb ,Great bathroom with a big bath.The lounge area is so comfortable and the pot belly stove was going when we arrived and the room was so warm and cosy .Then a magnificent breakfast in the morning .Phil and Sharon made our stay superb. We will definitely return and I recommend that you put this place on your bucket list. A guided wine tour with Phil is a must.

Absolutely superb place to stay

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend in Mudgee for two nights at this B&B. Phil & Sharon could not have been more lovely and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted each morning with an amazing breakfast and the area where we stayed was private and cosy with a beautiful pot belly stove to warm us up. The electric blanket was also very much appreciated and a great bathroom. There was even plenty of good quality tea and coffee, fresh milk and lovely wine glasses. In short we had everything we needed and more. This will be our go to place to stay in Mudgee and we highly recommend it to everyone. Phil was especially helpful with recommendations of what to do in the area. THANKS for a lovely stay, we will be back!!!

The best accommodation in Mudgee

We had a wonderful three  nights in this very comfortable B&B. Phil and Sharon could not have been more helpful. The accommodation is in a self-contained part of a large  house and comprises a large lounge, with a small kitchen area, big bedroom (such a comfortable bed!) and well equipped bathroom. I was very impressed with the quality of all the fittings and bed linen and it is clear that the hosts take great care to ensure a quality experience. This included Phil lighting the potbelly fire for us each afternoon in the cold Mudgee winter.  The continental breakfast was just what we needed to start the day, with muesli, fresh fruits (including strawberries; raspberries and blueberries); yoghurt; freshly squeezed orange juice and toast with a good range of spreads. The coffee was good and hot.  Sharon also has homemade jams for sale and we are looking forward to trying them at home.

Wonderful stay

Had a fabulous long weekend staying with hosts Sharon and Phil. Beautiful, well appointed accommodation. The cottage has a cozy, homely feel with excellent fittings. Very comfy bed, lovely claw foot bath and antique furniture. A real delight.
Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Breakfast is simple but nutritious and Sharon makes her own jams. The marmalade and strawberry are standouts.
So, Mudgee B&B comes very highly recommended. A stress free and relaxing base form which to explore the delights of Mudgess food and wine establishments.
I would most certainly return!

Great e B&B cottage in Mudgee

We stayed at Mudgee B and B for two night early in February 2020.

We received a very nice welcome from Phil who was an excellent host during our stay.  The B&B consists of a very comfortable bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. A delicious fresh breakfast is served in a dining room.

We liked the quiet, the comfortable bed, the  decor, the cleanliness and the freshly prepared breakfast.

The little touches impressed us .. like fresh milk to make tea or coffee with,  good wine and water glasses, good soap in the shower.. a bedside lamp you could read with. (yes!!!), a selection of good magazines and a very nice bath.

We enjoyed our stay in the 'Iberian quarter' of Mudgee.  Phil was a excellent host and he and Sharon run a very good B&B.  We will return. This place is good... very good

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great place to stay in Mudgee

We stayed with Mudgee B&B for a weekend in early December, with our little boy of 15 months. Right from the start Phil and Sharon were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was nothing short of amazing. We all very much enjoyed the assortment of cereals, fruit and toast, and the old butter churner was a hit with our son! The dining area was a lovely setting for us to start our day. Couldn’t recommend Mudgee B&B highly enough. We look forward to our next visit!

Very comfortable stay, wonderful hospitality 

Mudgee B&B is a wonderful homely place to stay and Sharon and Phil the perfect hosts.
The house, while an older style, is spotlessly clean and comfortable. It has the great advantage that we are the only guests, and there is a sitting room with TV, bedroom and en-suite. Many B&Bs these days offer just a room, with a shared “guest lounge”. Great continental breakfast is served in the adjacent dining room.
We shared many reminiscences of days gone by with Sharon and Phil over breakfast.
