What a beautiful B&B, big breakfast every morning with self made muesli and a good choice. We enjoyed it really much, for bird lovers it’s a paradise and it’s only a 10-15min walk through the bush into Nannup. A big thanks to the host’s Kerry and Mercer, we will come back:-))

Beautiful tranquil B&B with very nice and helpful host’s.

Beautiful location with views if forests, fields, and kangaroos.  Semi rural but only a 10 minute mostly bush walk to Nannup.  

Breakfast was fantastic.  Plentiful in quantity, range, and quality. All while watching birds eat and wash in the small garden outside the dining room window. 

Kerry and Mercer are lovely hosts. Their communication prior to arrival was excellent, and they provided a DIY breakfast in our room for our second morning as we had an early morning cycling event to get to. 

Highly recommended.  Would love to return.

Riverwood Retreat - a big Treat

We only stayed one night at this B&B but we plan to go back for more. Kerry and Mercer were excellent hosts and the accommodation was superb - beautifully furnished; we had 2 rooms, our own sitting room and a balcony wrapped around our rooms looking out over the front of the property. It is the ideal getaway- kangaroos and emus visiting, waking to the calls of the kookaburras, bronze-winged pigeons and red-tailed black cockatoos, ringed neck green parrots and the piece de resistance - a blue fairy wren popping by as we enjoyed a lovely breakfast looking out on to the bird bath and feeders!!! Very highly recommended.

Absolutely Brilliant!!!

We booked a night in Nannup after a trip from Margaret River and were pleasantly surprised with the beauty of Riverwood Retreat. The house is beautifully located and in mid winter the bird life was prolific and the gardens well cared for by our hosts. Our room was spacious. the bed had a luxurious electric blanket and there were enough doonas and blankets for an army ! Breakfast was home made and delicious with local produce to tempt our palets. We had a lovey conversation with the owners who are passionate in making every guests experience a great memory - they definitely achieved that. Thanks you.
We look forward to returning soon for a longer stay and enjoy the countryside.

A lovely stay with excellent hosts

An excellent room with the best breakfast we have had on this trip. Kerry and Mercer were helpful, friendly and generous in a number of ways. The bedroom and other guest rooms were tastefully furnished and the bathroom was roomy and well equipped. It was a treat to be able to stroll around the grounds.
Will go back if we are in the area again.

Very friendly helpful hosts - provided everything we need and more! Breakfast was amazing. A lovely place and if it hadn't been so hot (nudging 40 degrees!) it would have been a great place to walk.......

Excellent B&B

What a beautiful B and B in Nannup. Superb hospitality from owners made us feel at home during our overnight stay . Just wished we could have booked longer. Kangaroos parrots chickens possums all roaming freely.
Breakfast was unbelievable and beautifully presented overlooking bird baths frequented by blue wrens 28 parrots and others.
Would revisit here in a heartbeat 💗

We spent 4 nights at the lovely Riverwood Retreat while we were in Nannup for some mountain bike racing. Mercer and Kerry were lovely to deal with from the booking through to departure. 
The BnB setting is peaceful, the abundant birdlife a real treat, the sound of frogs and the many kangaroos made for a very scenic stay. 
Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than the normal breakfast time on each day of our stay, however Mercer and Kerry were very accommodating and set up us up with a lovely selection of breakfast foods to help ourselves to each morning in our kitchenette. Thankfully on our last morning we were able to sit in the breakfast room with gorgeous views and classic china crockery.
Riverwood Retreat is conveniently located very close to Nannup, about a 3 kilometre drive to the centre of town and even shorter by bike down the Timberline Gravel trail into the back of Nannup.
We stayed in the Monet Room, which has a kitchenette,  en suite, private balcony with a small BBQ and seating area. There is Wi-Fi, parking and a small TV in the bedroom, another one in the kitchenette. 
If we weren't busy racing every day, it would have been a magical place to kick back on the balcony with a glass of local wine and a good book. A beautiful place to just chill, unwind and to breathe in the scenery.
The accommodation was sparkly clean and Kerry's homemade muesli was a real treat as was the home made butter.
Highly recommended. Beautiful location, great hosts.

Food for the soul

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were greeted by the owners on our arrival and although got our dates wrong, they happily accommodated us.  Our bedroom was just perfect with an en-suite with all you needed - even a bath which I loved! Beautiful views from the upstairs balcony. Birds in abundance. We had the most delicious breakfast and our hostess baked a fresh banana and pecan pie. Beautifully decorated table. Fabulous stay and close to Nannup. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay

Spent a night here on our way to Margaret River.My cousin who lives in Perth recommended the stay. Excellent spot just out of Nannup,good rooms and huge breakfast to see us on our way.
