Comfortable, quiet stay even though another guest was next door & the only other guest.  
Ask reception for milk at reception, as none in the fridge, and a jug will be provided.
Ticked all the boxes but pricier than what we were used to in Victoria, probably the location

A comfortable night whilst on the road

First of all I will give the positives.  The beds were comfortable and clean and the TV worked well. Apart from that:

We booked the spa room with the ‘full kitchen’.  Well, the kitchen was not full!  Neither the oven nor the cooktop worked, and we specifically booked this room as we needed to cook for the children.  One of the owners claimed she knew nothing about gas cooking and could not help.  I said this is unacceptable and the room should not be advertised as having a full kitchen if it hasn’t. The other owner was apologetic and came to the room to try to fix it, but could not.  It turns out no one had bothered to check if these appliances even worked, and seeing as they are gas that is a real worry in itself.  The unit is described as a honeymoon suite with a romantic spa bath - -Erich that thought!  I didn’t take pictures, though if I had I would need to have taken many.  The 40 to 50 year old spa bath has two large ‘lung’ shape brown discoloured patches on the base - presumably caused by the heating element. The bathroom ceiling has a sizeable crack and the plastic toilet cistern is discoloured and crumbly in texture.  The old chairs in the kitchen area are chipped and rusted in parts as is the base of the standard lamp in the living area.  The floor, step and door at the entry must have been painted many years ago and are chipped and dirty.  The children went into the pool, which was dirty and the area unkept.  On getting out one of them sustained a cut from a sharp edge and the other got blue paint on her from the pool.  The grassed area at the back of our room (viewed from the kitchen) was overgrown and contained old rusted metal items. Had we been able to book in anywhere else we would have left. We stayed one night only.  This place is below average at best, and I would definitely NOT stay there again.  Nor would I recommend it to anyone else.  The room we stayed in should be locked closed until the gas appliances are checked and certified to be in safe working order.  Decidedly NOT a pleasant experience for us.

The WORST place we have ever stayed in Narooma.

A budget motel but we were very impressed. Extremely well maintained, spotlessly clean, spacious, beds comfortable, ensuite a nice size. Michael, the host was friendly and welcoming. Whilst the motel looks modest, we would certainly stay there again.

Ideal short term stopover.

This place says it’s a 3 star motel, it’s not even a one star motel 
Standing in the shower you can see out the front through the clear window, there are no curtains on the windows either
They don’t do meals, there are no plates or cutlery, they won’t clean your room & there is no washing up liquid to do it yourself (even if there was the sink is too small anyway 

Do not stay here if you can avoid it

We were visiting Narooma mid week to catch up with friends as we passed through and was surprised to find most accomodation showing no vacancy. We got online to book and saw this motel had availability. So we thought it’s just 5 minutes away, we will visit ourselves and book. When the shabbily dressed staff came out he looked at his laptop for a few minutes and then told us unless we wanted to stay for two nights there was nothing available.

Two night Minimum

Awesome set up!. Beautiful sites nearby too. Very quiet and cleaned and welcoming. Michael greeted my partner and showed country courtesy and showed how different the coastal country people are... THANK GOD!!. If back this way... definitely here!. CAN'T WAIT 👏😃❤️❤️

We stayed at the Farnbolo Motel Narooma for 2 nights, on arrival, the  lady at reception was very rude, she didn’t believe me we paid beforehand. 
We get to our room, we wanted a coffee,  there’s no Milk. No sink to fill jug up. Apart from the bathroom, yuck. So we go down town to purchase a coffee. 
My hubby wanted some toast there’s no knives. 
No hot water straight away in the shower. It takes a good 5 mins to come through. The window was filthy with 2 inches of dust. 
We go to bed for the night and we wake up the next morning unable to move. The bed is rock hard.
The pool is in need of a good clean and the lawns need a mow. 
Just be careful driving out of drive way turning left as you can’t see past the over grown plants out the front. 

I would suggest only to stay here if everything else is booked out . 

Only good thing about our stay nothing was a problem with Michael!

Farnbolo Motel Narooma.

Michael, owner was great friendly & informative. Upon arrival he greeted us & let us know once we are settled if we wanted he could give us information. He gave us great information on dinning in the area also places that deliver. Rooms were good size and clean. Parking is off street as well. I booked 4 rooms for 6 people all said it was a great hotel. We will be back. 

Great Stay

Lovely clean room, close enough to town centre. Staff very friendly. Price reasonable. Would stay again. Quiet end of town. Pool included. Many local sites to see. I used the local Kinema to watch A Star Is Born, love the old movie theatre. Went to
Australia Rock, saw seals relaxing on the rocks. Had a lovely dinner at Narooma golf club, overlooking the ocean. 

Short break

We visit Narooma with my friends, all accommodation during that week are fully book. And we found this Farnboro Hotel. 

Good things: 
near to all, you can walk around or drive around like beaches, town centre, Australian Rock, nearby town.

Bad things: 
a bit expensive for the said accommodation compare to others which better aminities and comfort. Pool water is bad and dirty. Need to clean and sanitize and put a chlorine, receptionist during the time we checked in a bit rude, we left the door open when we enter the reception and he raised his voice to me saying Close the door, without saying please. Inside the room, yes there is coffee and tea but to boil a water you need to use a water jug to get a water inside the shower room as there is no other tap or sink in the room. So we decided to buy a coffee outside for hygiene purposes.

Recommendations:
If you can't find a room to sleep during your visit, you can sleep in this hotel for a night and try to find another following day. This is good for a night only, if you want 2-3 days or more better you bring a camp tent and go to big 4 to hire a space.
