Lovely old place in need of serious TLC. You get what you pay for. A very small room with tv  and aircon for $60. Basic breakfast included, cereal, juice, tea, coffee and toast. Very clean and comfy. Good bed , pillows and linen. We chatted to the host over breakfast. Great conversation.

O/N in transit

It was very cheap and included breakfast. There were no signs in the rear carpark how to enter the hotel and my husband ended up in an employment office, who directed him to the front entrance. I had already gone round to the front entrance and climbed up a flight of very rickety stairs that creaked alarmingly and moved a lot. There was no-one in reception so had to phone them. The room had a bed jammed up against a wall which made it difficult for my husband to get in and out to go to the toilet down the hallway. The men's shower was alive with cockroaches, he said. As for breakfast, there was no cooked food available, I would have paid extra for bacon and eggs as we had a huge drive ahead of us.  I explained that we were doing a 'Wheat-free" diet, so the woman said we could have some Weetbix, but didn't know it was made from wheat. We left without breakfast.
Doors were banging throughout the night, the wall fan didn't work and there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. The woman did not inform us that we could go down the corridor to a tiny room where there was a kettle etc. The back stairs to the carpark were very steep and difficult for us to bring in our overnight bags. Would we recommend it? Nope.

You get what you pay for.

My partner and I were looking for a quick night stay somewhere clean and cheap. Centre of Town b&b was perfect for this. Although the bathrooms and toilets were shared we had our own private room that was super cheap and clean, that was close to everything like a servo, coffee shop and maccas. Would recommend it for anyone wanting a quick one night rest. 

Overall Really Happy

We stayed at this old pub now a B& B in the centre of town Narrabri NSW. 
Great old pub with comfortable rooms with breakfast included. 
The staff were very friendly and helpful with information re the town .

Great Place 

Owner was constantly making rude and suggestive remarks towards my younger male colleagues. Room looked like it had been cleaned by Stevie wonder. No washed sheets or towels over the nearly 2 week period of stay. The owner made us feel very uncomfortable throughout our stay. Morning and night. No service from 6pm. Stay away from room 11.

Seedy owner

Our stay was great. Could not fault a thing. Great hospitality, immaculate kitchen, rooms, halls, lounge. Bed clean,  comfortable, great quality linen. The building is nearly 100% ship shape and is a great example of early 1900's hay day. Would definately recommend. 

Historical building

I have stated at COT on many occasions over the past two years but on the l at two I have discovered bed bugs and have been extensively bitten. I quietly and respectfully alerted staff on both occasions. I refused to pay the $70 fee for the room on the second occasion only to be verbally abused and told not to come back. I am not writing this review out of spite I am writing to warn people that not only is there bed bugs but also disgusting filthy stained mattresses. Spider only cares about money and not for what his customers suffer. His standards have truly dropped.

Beware of the Bed Bugs

This is a fantastic old 100 year old pub turned into a B and B       A great atmosphere and Spider the owner is a National Treasure   Room was clean and basic but for the money it was great and breakfast was included !!  Would recommend this place to any budget minded traveller  It is walking distance to pubs and food in town and excellent off street parking
