Absolutely terrible 
We were booked in on the 3rd of may for our wedding in november 
Bali at the bay was suppose to be were the wife and her bridesmaid was to get ready on the day
When we checked in 
He claimed our booking was cancelled 
Didnt give us a date of when it was cancelled, as we did not cancel it, we were booked there for four nights but we were told that we could only stay for 3 as he double booked.
Extremely rude and hopefully we will get a refund as we had to book another place to stay.
What was suppose to be the happiest time of our lifes
Turn out to be a disaster because of the creepy man that lives up stairs

He lives upstairs and it doesnt say that on the booking sites 

For a bunch of girls staying there for a few nights we didnt to know that his a bachelor and if they need anything, his upstairs for whenever they need him

Wedding nightmare

Grant was an exceptional host and the accomodation was fantastic. The house was very clean, spacious and well set out. Given the timing of our stay and limited options for local dining due to closures, we still had a great time and made good use of the great outdoor kitchen area. It felt like we were on an overseas holiday. Would definitely recommend the accomodation and location and we hope to return.

Bali stay at home

Fantastic experience here.

And our dog was very welcome so could relax that he was able to

Relaxation Bali style

Very bad experience here... had to cancel our January booking due to COVID-19 state border closure. Attempted to get some refund or reschedule booking, but owner has been very rude in replying to our emails and to date has been quite unwilling to negotiate some form of refund. Appreciate his business needs but now know that he was able to re-book part of our time with two other bookings, so has benefitted from our misfortune; effectively double dipping. A highly distressing experience.

Totally unsatisfactory...

We loved the carved doorways, beautiful furniture, stone walls, peaceful statues, and luxurious outdoor & indoor cooking areas.  French champagne, Indonesian beers, expresso coffees on the house. The whole place was immaculately clean and private. We had a great family holiday in this lovely haven. Thank you.

Delightful holiday

We went for our 3 year anniversary and found the accommodation clean and comfortable, as soon as you walk in it feels like you’re in Bali! The Balinese design throughout made us feel like we were in a Bali retreat with beautiful details like a water fountain and vases and candles in each room. The accommodation itself was spacious with 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large living room with smart tv and complimentary Netflix and a lovely courtyard with outdoor dining, BBQ, sun chairs and hammock. Grant very kindly left us some A2 milk, champagne and Bintang beer in the fridge, and the Nespresso machine with pods ready to go. We had an amazing luxury experience and would definitely return again. Thanks Grant and Jenni!

Like Bali in Port Stephens

What a fantastic place this was. My husband and I went for our 20th wedding anniversary and Grant couldn't have looked after us better. The décor and appointments in the downstairs apartment are magnificent. There is a fully equipped kitchen and they even supply a few bits and pieces to help you out, alcohol & milk as well as muesli, tea, coffee etc. 
We spent the first romantic night in the hammock eating and drinking and using the spa in the luxurious bathroom. We were joined by friends on the second night and they could not believe how beautiful this place was with only being minutes away from shops and restaurants and a quick stroll to the beach. Having to all share the bathroom and the bedrooms being very close together you do need to make sure you are sharing with good friends if you go as two couples but for close friends it is amazing.

A piece of Bali in Australia

First time here and the place is amazing and  quiet. Grant is a great host. Close to beach and restaurants. Has a great spa and the bed was real comfortable. The property has a real authentic Bali atmosphere we will be back.

4 Days of bliss

What a find - this is a beautiful, relaxing place and the attention to detail is second to none.  Everything has been thought of to give you a comfortable luxurious stay and the fact that it's so near the beach is an added bonus.  Unfortunately we never got to meet Grant this time but Jenni was absolutely lovely and we will definitely be back.

Great location- close to Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay and a very short walk to the beach. Accomodation was beautiful, clean and very relaxing. It was lovely to meet the owners on arrival and would definitely stay here again.
