Food was tasty and yum but not hot enough. Staff were friendly but busy, 
Place was clean however furniture was dated, I like the place enough to come back and give it another go. 
Got regular sized meals and I wish I had got a bigger meal. 
Tried the Hefe craft beer 🍺, 
Very cloudy, worth a try if u like German 🇩🇪 style biers.

Hot not hot

Main meal dishes great value for money. Roast of the day, beef burgers, chicken schnitzel burger, chicken Cesar Salad. Good portions. Food quality really good. Staff very friendly and helpful - both restaurant and bar staff. So big ticks on all those things. Disappointed with the portion of Cadbury Flake Cheesecake though - VERY SMALL for the price of $12 for a single serve. Not much bigger than a TimTam really. Also the 'doof doof' background music not really conducive to a relaxing family atmosphere.  :( ... Otherwise good overall.

Hi guys! Not sure how often you read these things, but I couldn’t help but give a shout out to one of your amazing staff! Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but she was the lovely lady working the bistro with the blonde pixie cut and wore her collar popped up on 14/01/23. Maitland was inundated with crowds due to a function in the levee which obviously attracted more walk ins to the venue. As I went to order just after 8 I believe, I was informed the kitchen may have to close as orders would be served well after 9:30. I come from a hospitality background and completely understand the operations especially when busy,  which can be difficult  for someone to understand if they haven’t experienced being behind the counter. She explained it in such a clear way, that surely anyone would understand regardless. I did see relief on her face when I was completely understandable, as it’s never the messengers fault to relay negative information and I would assume maybe other customers weren’t so nice throughout the night. I’m keeping this as a positive review as even though there were some staff that might have not been as hospitable due to the pressure, in the end everyone was accommodating and we were more than happy to wait for our food! I really hope this gets back to her! I could not speak more highly of her work ethic and attitude, you would not even know that behind the counter it was probably absolute chaos! 

Amazing staff member!

We ordered  lunch from here Sunday 13/11/22.. my partner had roast of the day , was dry and hard he’d had only baked potatoes with it 2 out of 5 too hard to eat .. i wish I took pictures and sent back.. I had snitzel with boscola topping chips veg all cold … can’t fault the service staff … just a heads up to anyone going there for lunch $46 … wasted …..

Wouldn’t eat here again

Went to the Belmore late after a few drinks with friends. 
The RSA Marshall baited one of my friends before he had even had a drink. There was eight of us enjoying a late night drink when he told the same friend that he was lucky to be there after there were no issues for half an hour and him still being on the same beer.  We all proceeded to leave the premises only for the same RSA Marshall to then bait our friend again and again on the street in order to cause a scene. 
Luckily our decent heads prevailed and we walked away without anything occurring. But for the same marshall to follow us and again continuing to bait our friend to start an argument to justify him being there. Very very disappointed. We were visiting the town with our loved ones. Will not return to this venue due to hot headed RSA Marshall.

We had chicken wings to start, nice flavour, very small and overcooked. Both had snittys, crumb was soggy, placed on top of chips (pet hate) which made them soggy too. Salad had little dressing and could tell it was old produce. Overall very ordinary.

Very Meh

Overcooked lamb cutlets with soggy and cold chips. Other meal, vegetarian lasagne, while tasty has a tiny portion with no salad accompanying it. I went home and needed something more to eat.
When we complained about the lamb cutlets meal, the manager said that as the first cutlet had been eaten, no refund would be given.
Just had my last meal at this establishment.

Disappointing evening meal.

Went in for lunch, just the 4 of us. Kids meals came out fine. Our meals were forgotten by the chefs and took an hour and a half to come out. When we finally got them we ended up with two sharp pieces of plastic from a takeaway container in the steak sandwich. Other than that it was ok. Drinks are bit overpriced.. Paying $5.30 for a can of coke is a joke!!

Not so happy

We meet up with family traveling with their pet border collie. 
This pub is pet friendly, lovely big courtyard .
Staff where very accommodating.
Lunch was beautiful fresh food . We had burgers, chicken , fish and salads.
All served in a timely manner

Family catch up

From the awful smell emanating from the carpets, to the HUGE delays in meals being served (incl. children’s & entree’s), rude wait staff and then followed up by food poisoning. NEVER again! Absolutely horrid experience.
