Helen and John know how to make people feel welcome. We felt completely at home right from the moment we arrived. By the time we left two days later, it was like saying goodbye to old friends.
Breakfasts were a delight. John's garden supplied most of the ingredients and Helen's talents created breakfasts that were very special.
Bella Wind would be at the top of our list any time we needed accommodation in the Hunter.

Great weekend away.

We had three wonderful days with Helen and John in the Hunter Valley, it was fantastic. They are wonderful hosts and leave nothing to be desired. They have given us numerous tips and insider knowledge of the area, which cannot be found in a travel guide. We even watched the Australia Open together in their living room in the evening. The highlight, however, was the fantastic breakfast, which Helen prepared individually every morning and which we were able to enjoy on the terrace with a wonderful view. The house also has a beautiful pool, which can also be used.

It was a special place to stay on our tour with the best hosts. We can recommend the Loaction all around.

Fantastic short stay with great hosts!

Myself and a friend stayed 2 nights at Bella wind bed and breakfast as we were attending a concert. We were made to feel very welcome by Hely and John. It was so relaxing sitting out the back enjoying the beautiful view. The breakfasts Hely provided each day were absolutely fabulous.  Hely went out of her way to make us feel at home. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable and we had so much space to relax. We will definitely go back to stay again and would highly recommend friends to stay there. I am still craving a Hely breakfast a week later! Thanks Hely and John

Very hospitable hosts with amazing breakfast

A great room, wonderful views, breakfasts like I've never had, and hosts that made me feel part of their family. I couldn't have asked for better. I stayed for 10 nights and had the best experience. I can recommend to check out the pictures on the Facebook page to see what is offered here, but Hely will no doubt make the stay as unique as her food for all her guests.

Home away from home

We stayed at Bella Wind Bed-&-Breakfast for one night as we were going to a concert in the Hunter Valley.   We absolutely enjoyed  our night at the B & B; our host Helen making us feel very welcome-waking next morning to a delicious breakfast. We will definitely go back and visit them hopefully soon. 😁

Bella Wind B & B

We stayed for two nights at Hely and John's B&B. We got a warm welcome with a glass of wine at the terrace. The hosts are hospitable and helpful. Almost the whole house is at your disposal. The carefully prepared breakfast is tasty. 
A special event was the spontaneous invitation from the neighbors to join their cozy drink with snacks. Here we had some interesting conversations with locals.
The property provides a wide view of pieceful meadows and green hills. In the immediate vicinity there are many vineyards where you could taste wine.

Part of the family

We stayed at Bella Wind for 2 nights in November 2018 as we had a wedding in the area.  We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view in the back of the property by the pool.  Every morning Helen, our amazing host, made us the most delicious breakfast and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. Very clean and comfortable room and very well located. Would definitely return.

Wonderful relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Bella Wind, and Helen and John welcomed us into their home. The facilities, comfort, space, ambience, view and the breakfast were all excellent. Well situated for exploring the area, there home has magnificient rural views, and was such a tranquil contrast to the concert crowds in the Pokolbin area. Lovely people, and I can't recommend Bella Wind highly enough!

Glorious Rural Retreat in the Wine District

Helen & John we’re the perfect hosts. Their B&B was perfect great location in the Hunter Valley, very comfortable bed, & you felt very welcome in their home. Helen made the most amazing breakfasts. They both know the area so well they recommended great places to see & do. They made us feel like old friends even though we had only just met.
