Old style but staff are exceptional.  Buffet breakfast included in price is great. Rooms very comfortable. Highly recommend for a budget stay. Will return with pleasure. Excellent situation and Mogo Zoo is just 10km down the road

Dated but comfortable

For $100 per night we found it GREAT!!! We had a back door that opened out onto a beautiful shared grass area - balcony area was private from neighbours.  10 steps away to the pool and table tennis was a real treat!  Hot breaky would be welcomed - but plenty was offered on the complimentary breaky.  The highlight was a super comfy soft bed! GREAT FRIENDLY STAFF - nothing was too much trouble. AAA+++

Loved it here!!!

Staff were all lovely, check in and check out was easy however the place was clearly run down and needed some work. There is no air conditioning in the rooms despite it being advertised that there was. Bathroom could have used a better clean however some of it could have just been age as the place is definitely getting old. For me the bed was way to soft. Overall average stay and probably what you'd expect for $100 a night - probably would stay again especially when on a budget but if you've got a bit more to spend I'd look somewhere else.

Get what you pay

Stayed here overnight on our way further south. The staff on reception were very friendly. The room,although basic, was clean and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast included in room rate was good but could have included a muesli instead of just nutrigrain, cornflakes or coco pops..but it was nice to have a breaky choice. Even though on highway it was really quiet at night. The only thing was the pillows were flat and there was only two...so not comfortable. For an overnight to break up the journey this place is good for the price.

Good for a stopover

We booked this motel because other family members had booked. We paid $80.00 for a queen room with a view and included a continental breakfast. Sounds fantastic but you got what you paid for. Room was small and not clean. We opened the door and was greeted with leaf debris all through the entrance. The bathroom didn't have proper lighting and cockroaches scattered in every direction as soon as you walked in. The room had resident rodents too. My husband spent the night photographing the livestock.  The bed was tired and you are restricted to 1 very flat pillow that needed to be folded in half to give you the right height, but the sheets were clean.   We didn't check the tea & coffee making area until morning.  I emptied the kettle of dead cockroach before filling so we could have morning coffee. The rooms are not sound proof and you can hear your neighbour. The continental breakfast was good. Choice of cereals, toast, fruit and yoghurt, however if you have special dietry needs, best to bring your own.  All in all, this is not a place we would stay and we rated this the worst accommodation we have ever stopped at.
