We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Woongarra Motel. The room was impeccably clean, and the location couldn't have been better—right across the road from the water. We started our mornings with delightful breakfasts at a charming nearby café. The convenience of Club North Haven, where we attended a function, added to the overall experience. A perfect spot for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Fantastic Stay at Woongarra Motel

Excellent facilities - pool,  BBQ camp kitchen area, very large rooms,  well fitted out, modern bathrooms. Lots of  pleasant walking paths along river. Very friendly and obliging owners. Fishing paradise,  patrolled beaches.

Lovely little place to stay! Very clean and tidy with the club conveniently located in walking distance! Located across the road from the water!

Beautifully in side and magnificent out side over looking the Camden haven river. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous inside with comfortable beds and linen,great size bathroom that has a fantastic shower inside,nice size Appointment kitchenette and spotlessly clean floors area. Out side is as neat a pin and is extremely well kept which is a credit to our lovely host Luke and Peggy . We love the pool and bbq area to chill out and relax and enjoy a cold drink. Whenever my self and my family have stayed here ( 3 visits in the past twelve months) we have always felt safe ,comfortable and secure.There’s a great cafe right next door for morning coffee breakfast etc. And walking distance to north haven bowling club. A very warm and accommodating hosts for our needs.

Relaxing & beautiful

Two night stay on the weekend for a wedding. Stayed in a Queen room that had been tasteful renovated.
Clean room, friendly staff and housekeeping. Great location close to the break wall and a short walk or drive to the beach. 
Cafes and restaurants as well as the bowling club near by.
Quiet location all rooms are ground level.

Friendly family run hotel with spacious rooms and well spaced car park. 

The rooms are very well equipped even down to a nightlight in the toilet! Well done. So much thought has gone into everything. Renovations appear to be recent and very well looked after.

Small kitchenette. Everything pristine, clean and tidy.

The pool and entertaining area with fantastic BBQ’s are a bonus.

So quiet at night - we slept well. Our room had a comfortable sofa and a work area, others had an extra single bed.

Wifi wasn’t great but Telstra 4G reception is ok.

There’s a cafe next door and the bowling club is a block away. Easily walkable.

Highly recommended.

I wish every hotel was like this

A glowing review for these welcoming, kind hearted people! Luke and Peggy were wonderful, the accommodation was clean and spacious, and contained everything you could need, including a comfy couch, desk space, kitchenette with microwave, toaster and fridge. 
It's in a good central location, waters edge and just a lovely atmosphere 
We highly recommend!

New Owners, Wonderful stay!

We stayed for a week's holiday and really enjoyed our time here. We felt most welcome right from the start by the very friendly hosts Grant and Lorraine.  Our room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The location was quiet and perfect, just beside the river and beach nearby with shops not too far away. It was a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing holiday and we will definitely return to Woongarra Motel.

A wonderful motel

The motel is run by a very friendly couple. It’s quiet and close to the beach and not far from Laurieton shops etc. We have stayed here before and so we know it’s a good spot. Always clean and the bed is comfortable. The room has all the accoutrements you need. 

Very clean and comfortable 

Our family stayed for a week during the school holidays at the Woongarra. We had the two bedroom family unit at the front of the motel. There was plenty of room for the five of us, beds were comfortable, everything is very clean and even though it is an older motel, the decor has been updated. Great location to fishing spots, beaches and plenty of places to eat. The owners, Grant & Lorraine, are fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. This is our second visit here and we hope to be back for more.
