Great motel in an excellent location. We stayed 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Across the road from the water where plenty of picnic tables can be found. 500 metres along the break wall to a nice beach or go the other way to the local cafe's and shops. All this on a nice flat path.
The motel room was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The beds were new and very comfortable. Also had a small kitchenette with microwave, toaster etc. Plenty of plates and cutlery as well. The pool was very clean and was attached to one of the best motel BBQ areas I have seen and we ended up using this BBQ area twice. If you don't want to cook there is the local bowling club a 100 meters away.

Great location....walk to everything.

We booked a twin room for an overnight stay on our way to visiting our NSW based daughter.  It was very clean, quiet, and the kitchenette was a bonus.  Comfortable beds.  The beach at North Haven is lovely, and we managed to fit in a swim there as well.

Very nice motel

Driving from Qld to South Coast stopped at half way point & couldn’t have picked a better place. North Haven Waters is the cleanest & most comfortable motel we’ve ever stayed, hence on our return trip we booked again. 
Lovely river walk opposite with Brew cafe walking distance for dinner… can’t go wrong with friendly managers

Best motel

We had been told about the prettiness of the area and decided to stop here overnight at the Haven Waters.  We had a beautiful apartment upstairs with lovely water views; it was spacious and clean.  We were very much looking forward to spending the night here but the weather had other ideas!  Unfortunately the howling winds (causing the bathroom extractor fan to flap) and drumming rain kept us awake much of the night.  This was just unlucky, because we would love to come back here for a few days in the next dry period, and enjoy the lovely accommodation and district.

Shame about the weather!

Great location, very clean and close to all amenities. Sandy & Richard were the perfect hosts - very helpful & friendly. We originally just booked in for 1 night as a stop over on our way to Sydney. Enjoyed it so much, we decided to stay another 2 days! Well worth it. 
We will be staying here again at some point in time, definitely.

An enjoyable stay at a nice motel requires a few key things things:  1. Welcoming hosts and staff.  2. Clean and well cared for spacious rooms in an attractive setting.  3. A very comfortable bed. Haven Waters gives all three of these and much more – and we have stayed three times – most recently for four nights. Sandy and Richard (owners and managers) provided us with with a jolly welcome and a superb and genuine ‘three star’ stay at what we thought was great value pricing.

Beyond the three things mentioned above mentioned, Haven Waters’ pretty and nicely maintained grounds include very large parking spaces for every unit and a swimming pool that is beautifully maintained by professional pool contractors (we saw them at work). Just across the road is the Camden Haven River with an enjoyable totally flat riverside walk of 1400 metres to the river mouth, surf beach and adjacent surfside cafe – that is very popular every morning. We saw none, but the locals said that with just a little luck dolphins often can be seen.

The area of Camden Haven (that includes North Haven) and Port Macquarie is full of lovely spots and enjoyable walks – ranging from ‘mountain tops’ to remo lighthouses to bushland and beaches.

We ate and ‘coffeed’ at Brewhaven Cafe (two minutes walk from Haven Waters – and across the road from the modern looking Club North Haven). Brewhaven is open all day every day (including for dinner) except on Sunday it closes after lunch. We found the food quality and prices at Brewhaven to be very good indeed – and the coffee (from Nine Yards Coffee, Brookvale) was simply outstanding – as wa NCs their very friendly service.

A lovely place to visit and to stay...

Booked a self-contained apartment for the week. Very reasonably priced and room was very clean and comfortable. Location is great also. Have stayed here before, and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Clean and comfortable, excellent spot.

Had a fantastic time, motel very clean and everything you need was in the little apartment. Beds were very comfortable. Didn’t use bbq area but noticed it also had everything you needed plates, knifes & forks all there for your convenience. Great place to stay and would happily stay there again.

Weekend getaway

Rooms are well equipped and clean. Location is great with club within walking distance and Cafe even closer. Area has lots of retail and is very picturesque. Also quite close to Port Macquarie for anything else.

Friendly and helpful staff Great location

The location is perfect with everything nearby - beaches, river walks, cafes, clubs, boat ramps and bicycle tracks.

We often stay at the motel and the high quality is always the same.
The property and grounds are well maintained with plenty of spacious level parking.
The rooms are also spacious and spotless. During our recent stay, all rooms were being upgraded to brand new mattresses.

The owners and staff are friendly and always go out their way to make our stay pleasant.
