Wonderful place to step off the grid and spend a weekend away in the country.
fully self contained so you don't you have to move, or if you do, there are little country towns to explore within 10 to 20 minutes.

Ideal country escape...

Great romantic get away awesome service everything you could ask for close to walking trails you can order a picnic hamper or breakfast in just relaxing in the spa while enjoying nature was the best part and a log fire burning in the back ground

Lady at the counter was very lovely and offered us DVD's to watch and a free bottle of wine.
Bed was very comfy, pressure on the tap to fill the spa was great. We used alot of water for the spa and was constantly hot which was great, The Fireplace was a warm touch for us staying in the colder months. The Kitchen facilities were great, big fridge big stove, kettle toaster everything. It had no built in oven but a small toaster oven.

There was only one tiny thing i thought, the chucks and sponge that was provided under the sink (as self contained) i thought a clean one could have been provided for our stay. It was used from the previous guests.

Lovely secret quiet hideaway

From the moment we stepped in the door we felt a sigh. Just the first few hours was this way. Coming from a busy life, to sitting on the private verandah and  listening to the birds was divine. 
Thank you for our refreshing time away. 

Couple rest 

We stayed 3 nights during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. It was a lovely drive in to Toowoomba each day and we visited different towns en route to see their garden displays which every bit as good as those in Toowoomba. Plenty of places to eat at nearby towns, or cook or BBQ at the chalet. The owner was very helpful and the chalet was extremely comfortable. It had a fabulous shower, and also a spa bath that we didn't use with respect to the drought.

TIP: One tip though, there's no phone in the chalet or WiFi so send/receive your phone and email messages before you get back to the chalet each day. (There is a landline at reception for emergencies).

Peaceful, Queit & Private

Excellent venue for a romantic couples getaway. The Chalets are fully equipped, spacious, clean, well maintained and excellent value for money. Whether you want to get away from it all and enjoy quality time together or a great base to explore the local National Parks and State Forests or the Toowoomba/Scenic Rim region. A friendly welcome and a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival and a large DVD selection (no TV reception) for those who want to bunker down.
