Lovely big room, had everything we needed. Tom and Brea were so helpful. Very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Provided lots of information on the hotel and the bar and food options for either dinner or breakfast. Also proved a list of where to eat in town.

Short stay

Our stay at Parkes International was fantastic. The hotel's warm hospitality and attention to detail made it a memorable experience. The spacious rooms were comfortable, and the staff's friendliness stood out. The central location was convenient. Cleanliness was a priority, ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay for our family. We highly recommend Parkes International for a pleasant and well-rounded accommodation experience.

Exceptional Family Getaway at Parkes International

The room is spacious and comfortable.  Had lamb loin chops for dinner at their restaurant and it was great.  Cooked just right with great flavour. See photo. Very friendly staff.  Check in was a breeze. Have stayed there before and will stay again.

Six out of Five stars here. Fantastic hosts, great spacious room, comfy king size bed, Foxtel, great shower and my usual gripe (but not here!) - plenty of shelf space and clothes hooks in the bathroom and shower. Best motel we have stayed at in years. Good on you guys!

Not enough stars for our stay!

Lovely Motel - we stayed 7nights - the place was clean and the staff very friendly. Thanks so much Pete and Wilma for looking after us. Pool was also great - we have stayed in a few places in Parkes and would definitely recommend this one👍👍

Fabulous

Friendly and professional management team who ensure the stay is very comfortable and easy. My late arrivals from Sydney are welcomed to a cool room because the air conditioning is turned on by staff to ensure a good night sleep.
Rooms are spotless
Easy access in and out of the room and surprisingly the traffic on the Newell isn’t distracting.

Weekly work visits

Stayed at this property two non-consecutive nights. This used to be one of the best motels in Parkes and the rooms are still well presented but it is not worth $160 a night, even allowing for the significant increase in accommodation prices post Covid travel restrictions. Room inspections and maintenance could be better. In the room I stayed in on the first night one of the spotlights over the wash basin was not working and on the second night the entire liquid soap dispenser adjacent to the wash basin had fallen off and was lying beside the wash basin. You might expect this in a $90 a night flea pit but not at $160 a night.

The motel advertised  breakfast in the dining room which is great (and I availed myself of that on the first morning) but when I asked while I was booking on the phone  if it was possible to have a continental breakfast brought to my room the evening before departure on the second day I was told that that is not done. However, when I arrived at reception and mentioned that I would be leaving too early for the restaurant breakfast the obliging lady prepared a tray breakfast and brought to my room just after I booked in. Well, if she can do that why not offer the tray breakfast the night before as a service for everyone?  Again, at $160 a night this would not be too much to ask.

Poor room maintenance - confusing availability of tray breakfast

The motel room was tidy and clean. Fit my family well. The room didn’t have any shampoo but did have body wash and conditioner. Beds were comfortable and bedding was fresh and clean. Our disappointment was the pool. We had chosen this place as it was affordable and had a pool that my kids were excited to use. Unfortunately they couldn’t use it as it was riddled with bugs. And not just a couple, the whole pool. When I spoke to the managers, they stated they tried to clean it but there was nothing they could do. They approached me after trying to clean it again to say they were gone, but with hundreds of bugs, this was not the case. This was my only negative experience with this accommodation as it was hot, and this is what my kids were looking forward to after a 6 hour drive.

Overnight stay

Beautiful motel with large, lovely clean rooms. Wheelchair accessible room has a fantastic large bathroom with plenty of rails. Hosts were extremely helpful with our questions about the area. Strongly recommend having a cooked breakfast in the motel. Food was incredible 

Family holiday

On arrival I was greeted by the owner who was so welcoming and friendly which was a great start. 
The room was lovely and the kids had separate room with a closing door. Everything was spotless, tasteful and modern and designed so you weren’t tripping over each other. It was bigger than the average Motor Inn room. 
We were lucky enough to have a spa in our room as well. Was also supplied with microwave, kettle etc and a good amount of plates bowls cutlery.  The fridge was in a cupboard which stopped you from hearing it  when sleeping 
Bed was very comfortable.  Only heard a slight swish of traffic. 
We also received complimentary water bottles 
The bathroom had soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash , shaving cream and moisturising dispensers 
My only disappointment was we weren’t staying there for longer. 
Will definitely stay here next time when driving through  and hope to extend our stay next time  to enjoy Parkes.
