Unfortunately was not the best of stays, had a issue with the power point in the bathroom not working, and when I reported it to staff they were more interested in to why I was using the power point in the bathroom and not the main room.   I was not given an apology, another room, or discount for something that was not working in the room.  Another issue I can across was the room was not 100% clean, for starters cobwebs, stains, dirty marks, and mould though out the room.

Service and cleanliness

Do not recommend this motel or the rude lady at reception. We booked and paid for accomodation through wotif, and on arrival the lady completely disregarded us and said it wasn't her 'problem'. She told us to go away and take it up with the booking company. Here we are, late at night with a 4x month old infant and no accomodation left in Parkes. When the booking site confirmed our booking and payment to this motel, the lady kept hanging up on both of us and the booking company. She refused to assist or rectify the issue. We will be taking this further, and urge any guests looking for accomodation to steer clear of this place and the rude lady that runs it. Upon reading other reviews, I'm now relieved we did not stay here.

Rude rude rude

Was a good unit, but no facilities for dinner or breakfast. We went for dinner at the motel next door. 
I had paid for the unit when I booked, but according to the motel it wasn’t paid, so it got paid twice.

Quiet and comfy.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The room was spacious for the three of us. The staff were friendly and the express check-out was great when we had to leave early. The hotel was not far from the heart of Parkes and only a short drive away from the Dish.

Great place to stay in Parkes

We picked up a puppy in Queensland and drove home stopping in Parkes overnight.

Rachael the owner was wonderful and very helpful, the rooms are lovely and clean.

Apollo is PET FRIENDLY and really lives up to the statement, highly recommended!

Pet friendly and great value

We broke down in this town, 1000km from home, Booked a hotel but when i rocked up apparently i didn’t, woman at the reception was completely rude from the start, calling me a Sl*t and to “get out of here”
 Wouldn’t stay here if it was the last place on earth, disgusting behaviour from a business owner

Rude, disrespectful and absolutely disgusting

Get real with the reviews people. This is a very average, dated motel with small, unattractive, besser block, low ceiling rooms with noise from adjoining rooms and clunking box air-con/heater units that drowned out the TV and woke us up in the night. It was clean and the bed comfortable - OK for a night - but there must be better choices.

Could not understand why I was going to be charged more for my stay just because I put the wrong PIN number in? I carry more than one card and I had not used my pin for 2 years because of Covid. Still it worked the second time and we didn’t have to go there. I defiantly would not of paid extra it was a good bluff never heard of that before!!!!!!!!!!

Very well presented

What a lovely little motel, very clean with some lovely little updates on an aged roadside motel. Wonderfully appointed family room, with bonus ‘The Dish’ dvd which my kids have rated as a perfectly timed highlight of their stay (12,10,10) after spending the afternoon exploring the Radiotelescope. The Manager was delightful, checked on us as we checked in and also as we left to ensure we had a lovely time. Well priced for a restful stopover

Family stop over on road trip

It was like an OMG why did i stay here. Manager was drunk as a skunk in check in his breath near wiped me out. Apart from the slurring he wasn't functioning great.
This motel had reasonable reviews but my partner and i wont be returning anytime soon, it was beyond comprehension. Not professional at all stay away nothing to say good hear  so not professional moved next door to Parkes Motel.
