Great place to stay, very tidy and clean. Highly recommended. Close to town, off the highway. Pool included, and the price wasn’t expensive. Good people to deal with, the power went out when I was there , though the staff were straight onto the problem to solve it.

One night

Old el Mexican motel now changed names with new owner. Stayed 3 nights for volunteering job. Room freshly painted and clean. Room size typical coun countrytry inn suitable for a couple. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Bathroom old but clean and functional. Needs a plumber to fix leaking basin taps (room 5). Under 10 minute walk to main street. RSL Club, McDonalds and KFC even closer. Pool clean and well maintained.
Appears no staff on site. Key in room on arrival (late) and leave key in room on departure.
Do not offer breakfast. This was an issue with no vehicle and relying on walking.
Would have rated this motel higher except no person would service the room. Left the "Tidy Room" tag on outside door knob on 2nd day only to find it removed and put on chair. Interpreted this as saying they saw it but do not clean rooms. No note left. Others in my group also did not have thier rooms done either.
Our large organisation has feedback processes on accomodation. I would not stay here with my family for more than 1 night due to lack of room cleaning.

No service of rooms or breakfasts

This little motel was great value for money. We had 4 of us in the family room with a spare bed. Rooms were  dated but very clean, beds were comfy, pillows a bit lumpy, but room supplied with a toaster, tea towel and kettle. It was very hot in Parkes, but the airconditioning worked very well. We cooled off in the smallish pool. It was a bit of a walk into the centre of town for dinner but a good distance to stretch our legs after driving all day, then walking off our delicious Indian meal.

Good value

For an overnight stay or a couple of nights, I definitely would recommend this place. Excellent price, close to shops (nice to walk after driving long hours), clean amenities, spacious for either a single person or a couple of ppl, quiet location, and close to the Newell Hwy for an early getaway. 
I really liked the small things like the way the towels are folded...quality touch. 
Mick at reception was extremely helpful and a happy host to chat with. 
I will for sure use stay here when I’m in Parkes again.

Great value

Fantastic stay! Bed comfortable and shower great! Heater lovely and warm! Wonderful reception! Recommend eating at Services Club a easy walk from the motel and back!  Would recommend it for a overnight stay!

Overnight 

I stayed here in April this year. After driving all day from Brisbane, I decided to stay in Parkes rather than Dubbo. Found this motel and thought I'd stay here as the room was only $80 for the night. 

I found the room to be a little outdated, but comfortable. There was next to no noise from other rooms or the road and I was able to get a great night sleep. I was able to check in late around 9pm which was great. The shower has a curtain which I'm not a fan of, but the style is old so its expected. 

Overall, if you're looking for somewhere to get a decent night sleep at a cheap rate, this place is for you. If I'm ever travelling through again, I'd more than likely stay here again.

A little bit out of town, which is nice for noise.
Booked the family room which was comfortable, if a little cramped.
Good wifi and ammenities.
No apparent daily room service, but we may have confused things by placing the 'please make up our room' tag on the door, which could have been mistaken from a distance for 'do not disturb'.
Check before booking as their kitchen was being upgraded during our visit and no meals were available. They are helpful with local alternatives, making up for the inconvenience.

Friendly and convenient.

I booked ahead as i was going to be late on the way back to rye gold coast from victoria. Couldnt be anymore helpful all organised stress free. Room was big enough tge bed and electric blankett was amazing. Really cheap and i think great bargain.  Woyld stay over and over again. I stay in these little places to admire them not to expect 5 star service and decor.  And some champion helping that us nore worried about how they look then looking after you. Go back to the city if thats was u are after!Just country service with a smile but genuine people. 

Great little place to stay passing through town.

We stayed for two nights in May. The rooms were older style but clean with a modern and very quiet air conditioner, big TVs and fresh paint and carpet. No road noise was a pleasant surprise as was the free wi-fi. No foxtel but great value for the money. Less than 5 minutes walk to Parkes Services Club and Maccas. We would definately stay there again.
