The staff here were extremely friendly and accommodating. The made our tea to our liking and nothing was too hard for them. The lake and the wildlife were great but the older lady that was serving us was amazing and a high light of our trip. 

Worth a vist

Beautiful place to visit in Pemberton. You must try the berry pancakes! They were so fluffy and tasty. Lovely and welcoming owners and there is also a little animal farm there. Perfect for all people especially little ones. 

Delicious Pancakes 

Lovely rammed earth cottage with a fire which was great in the cold. Cottage had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Over looking a lake with ducks swimming on it. Across the ;lake was a cafe with good coffee and cake. Also do lunch Lavender gardens and a animals up the back. great place for a family

a winter break

We stayed for Two nights earlier this month. The service we received from the owner was unparallelled. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay.

The location is beautiful. We felt very lucky to stay in such a great place.

Sensational Service

Situated out a few kilometres from town the chalets overlook a lake. The chalets showed signs of a very busy summer season but were closing for a period for some needed maintenance. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were very friendly  and e would stay again

Lovely outlook from the rooms. Very relaxing

My little girl and I enjoyed our two night stay in cottage number 3, so much so she was not happy to leave! The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was so relaxing to sit and look at the gorgeous views, through the huge windows, by the warmth of the fire.  The beds were comfortable and we were very excited to discover our beds had electric blankets! We loved walking around the beautiful grounds visiting the 'character filled' pony and alpacas, watching the ducks and listening to to frogs chorus throughout the night! Even though all the cottages had guests in them, it was very private and quiet.  The owner was a really nice man and was very helpful in accommodating me for the extra requirements for my stay.  My only regret is we didn't have the pancakes!!!  We will just have to come back again and stay so we can have pancakes!! (And scones!!)

Booked two days at Lavender & Berry Farm and was disappointed. 
Cafe wasn't open as it was in process of changing owners. 

Chalet area was not well maintained as it was under going refurbishment. Water from tap was yellowish and we had to drive to town to get drinking water. The chalet was not tidied after first night. 

We should have been informed about the changes in the establishment and all the ongoing works so that we can make changes to our travel plans. 

It was not worth paying $310 for 2 nights when the chalet and the surrounding was in that condition. 

Disappointing stay 

We were enchanted by the beautiful surroundings when we arrived. The sun was out the ducks was around and the surrounding looks lovely. Love at first sight! 

And then on to the cottage. We have no problem with the cottage. It is not the cleanest but comfortable enough for us. The fireplace makes it very cosy too. 

On the second and third night there was a thunder storm. It was the worst experience I ever had. The tree branches and the heavy rain storm falling on the roof making alot of noises. Makes it very eerie (although we survived both nights). 😛 and on one of the night, the door won't lock! The door was blown open by the stormy weather. 

Their Jamie Oliver BBQ Works perfectly. 

It is a lovely place to stay for a couple of day if you like truecottage style. 

Point to note:
- WiFi provided although not stable but work ok if you walk out to the verandah. 
- no Telco coverage. 

Things they could improve... Fix the roof! 😁


Lovely on good weather. 

We stayed 4 nights here in July 2016. The location was great and very private with a veranda and table and chairs to look out over the Lake.The bed was comfortable. We thought it a little expensive for what you get, particularly when we were only supplied with 1 toilet roll for 4 days. Firelighters were the same and we did end up having to purchase more as the wood provided for the fire was green and created a lot of smoke. Nice dry wood would have prevented this. The other issue was spiders. There was spider webs everywhere inside, included spiders (Daddy Long Legs) hanging down from the shower recess. (Thankful we didnt have little children afraid of Spiders) The whole chalet could have done with a good clean regarding spiders webs and dirt left behind doors. However besides these few point our stay was pleasant.

Really looked forward to revisiting this icon. However, left very disappointed. Poor service, felt like we were interrupting, despite being the only ones there. Asked for sugar, was given only one sachet  for two coffees. No fresh berries, local gift shop had no local suppliers and gardens are starting to get away from them. Disappointing coffee.
