Don't try to give suggestions for any improvement or you might get hung up on!  I had a simple request just trying to pay a bill over the phone for a person I was supporting through a crisis.  I let the guy on the phone know that I needed my receipt to match what I actually agreed to pay and explained how they could perhaps avoid repeating this situation in the future.  I guess feedback is hard for some people???

It's 3am and I am scared in this hotel with my kids. People yelling, shadows past my window, banging. No security, no staff on location. My kids were scared when we arrived due to the damaged doors, graffiti on walls and they are right. No Wi-Fi. Restaurant and bar closed. The manager is kind enough to check me out in the morning and refund my money I paid through online booking. Honestly, this is not a family place. The room itself is clean and big but there is an empty car park and train tracks behind and it's just not cosy to bring your children. I hope to get some sleep during daylight hours tomorrow.

Terrifying, but clean.

Whilst On holidays in Perth area l had a Facebook friend tell me about the New Chef at this hotel so we thought we would give it a try. From the outside of the building one would wonder how can a good meal be in there as it is a bit run down looking, but we v went through to the Carriage  restaurant to be welcomed by the  New waitress and the Chef. After a good look at the menu we decided on a Scotch Fillet mash & Veg, Thai Green Curry Chicken & a Chicken Parma. The Parma was Huge and Delicious, My husband said his Steak was Perfect and my sister loved her Chicken Curry.  The prices were Very Reasonable, the meals came out Quickly and it was nice to get hot food. I hope the new Chef gets a chance to show his skills as the food was well presented and with a bit of renovation this hotel could become a Great place to eat and hold functions. Great food, give it a try.

Review of Restuarant Only. Carriage Restuarant Great Meals

The motel is budget, but has all you need and is clean. I liked having a fridge without it being full of things for sale.  There is a supermarket just across the road.  I have stayed here twice and my only issues were that some bits needed maintenance (carpet tear and a bathroom issue) and the railway was close (transcontinental freights pass by through the night). It is just 200 metres to the Midland suburban and country railway station and there is a bus terminal there, too. Reception is next door in the Commercial Tavern, where you can have free wi-fi reception and meals.

The Budget Motel is what it says, budget. I chose it because it was within a few kilometres of the Perth domestic airport. There was nothing fancy, but the bed was comfortable, the shower/toilet room clean, there was a microwave oven and the usual tea/coffee and electric jug. The only downside was an upholstered chair that belonged in the tip. The covering was torn and truly filthy. You couldn't sit nor put anything on it. You had a choice of eating in the attached pub restaurant or have take-away. My meal choice was hot and tasty. Staff was obliging and efficient. There was no wifi in the rooms but it was free in the bar/restaurant.
