Our group stopped in for a weekend stay.  The staff were very friendly and helpful, highly impressed.  The park is situated in a beautiful spot on the Buckland and Ovens Rivers.  The amenities block is new and clean, great showers with plenty of hot water.

Weekend Stay - Fantastic!

We stayed for the January long weekend. Park just as lovely as ever and such a great location. 
We regularly stay here over the years however noticed this year that the noise levels at night are just astounding. 
Could not believe the racket people were making well into midnight and the early hours of the morning. Most of the noise were permanent cabins along Poplar Lane with large groups having parties each night. 
Was very disappointed that management did not control the noise levels. Made for very unpleasant sleeping.
Not sure we would stay again unless they actually do something about the noise. 
One night a large group were screaming, yelling, laughing until well after 2:30am. Felt very sorry for campers with young children. 
This aspect really needs to improve.

Lovely but Noisy

We stayed twice in November at a powered site directly on river. We loved it so much we extended our booking after a short trip home for some baby sitting.

The place is spotless, quiet and sites  spacious.  There were a few groups there for our second visit, but we didn't hear a thing. Small groups settle along the river banks for a quite afternoon drink. The views are spectacular, the tree lined river bubbles along, and all creature comforts are at hand. 

The camp kitchens are functional and clean. The bathrooms spotless. 

It has just changed hands, and we had a couple of exchanges with new owners (our stay straddled old and new owners), and I am confident that the park is in good hands with the new owners,

Outstanding Scenery

The setting is beautiful, amenities are clean and plentiful.  Due to CO19 we cannot camp this weekend and I was not required to pay to keep our site, thank you, very kind and generous.  We will be back.

Fabulous clean park

Stayed there for 5 nights with work.Was welcomed by the friendly owner/manager who took care of us straight away. Cabins were awesome and clean and the toilets and showers were spotless. Great spot near the river, good for fishing even though i didn't have time. About 5 mins out of town. Great quiet spot would stay there again for sure.

Great Place

We stayed for Melbourne Cup Weekend in "The Lakes" camping area. Lovely grassy area, big trees for shade. We were a large group and this site was perfect for us all. Lots of space around us. We were not squashed in at all (as we have been in other parks). The camp kitchen was great, Fridge and 2 bbq's. Large tables. Power points etc. Bathrooms cleaned regularly. I think if you were staying over the summer heat it might feel far from the river but for Nov the site was perfect. Will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic caravan park

Stayed here for a weekend. The cabins are new and in good condition. A very large park and kept very clean and tidy. Very quiet, not being summer, would be so peaceful during the autumn and winter months. Loved it and will go back.

Our hiking leader booked this park for a night while we explored Rollasons falls and Mt Beauty.
Great location, 10 min drive too Bright.
The park.is clean, spacious and has a mixture of permanent sites, tents, caravans powered and unpowered.
There were 9 of us camping, they positioned us near gorgeous willow trees close to amenities and camp kitchen.
The oven river back onto tue caravan park was a short walk .
There is a games room, amentities modern and clean.
Our friends were happy too find a coffee van present in the morning.
Overall very happy with our stay.
Appeared family friendly, welcoming.

Great central spot

We booked a cabin here and found it to be ideal. We had a granddaughter and a dog with us and they both enjoyed it. The accommodation was spotless and we could recommend it for a holiday stay. Everything was provided and we found the cabin to be quite spacious. We will be coming back so that says it all. One tip if you eat at the pub...........book.

Nice Park. Nice People

We had a great time at the caravan park. Had a powered site (with tap but no sullage) near the camp kitchen. Great spot, although a bit of a hike to the toilets. Toilets/amenities were amazingly clean and new. Plenty of hot water, showers and toilets - never had to wait to use them. Kids loved the "play room", wading in the river and it is an easy bike ride to wineries and Bright. We will be back. Only suggestion to owners are that it would be nice to have a toilet at the end of Cottonwood Rd and if you get hayfever, ask for a site away from cottonwood trees (happen to flower in November...my poor eyes!)
