We stayed here in Sept 2014 and we had a room facing Macrossan Street with a balcony. What an amazing and clean place. Great parking spots behind the hotel and everything you need to have a wonderful stay. The tv and spacious bed was great and everything just fit for us in this place including the price. Stay here.... you will love it!

EXCELLENT

We've been living in the so-called Botique Suites for two months, since we've been working in Port Douglas. The first one is a big minus. The apartments are in the heart of Port Douglas, and we didn't have a 10-minute walk to the supermarket and to work, which is a plus. The rooms are quite small, a 1.40m bed, a little storage space for clothes, a TV with a TV and a very small bathroom, but everything is usable for two people. The first one is a thick minus. The first one costs $350 a week, divided by two people, and the second one is a $175 walk to work, which is a plus. Average and very expensive

I stayed here during Christmas 2013 and was so pleasantly surprised by the set up. the price at the time was a bargain, and i didn't plan on spending much time in-room during such gorgeous weather. However, there was air conditioning, free in room wi-fi and ipad, a sizeable tv, small ensuite, free bike hire and a comfy double bed with fresh linen. There was no kitchen (not a problem at all) but there was a kettle and some plates/bowls/cutlery. More luxury than I had expected!! Also, as it was my birthday and christmas, a card and something special had been left for me. The ladies who run it are so lovely and thoughtful and I really cannot praise them enough! It really was SUCH good value for money and the self service check out / no reception didn't provide any difficulties and there was always someone around during the day if you had any queries. Had a lovely chat and got some great tips from one of the ladies (i really wish I knew her/their names to compliment them more personally). Beautiful accom and service, 5/5 a thousand times over !!!

We stayed for 5 nights in January 2015 and were a little disappointed. 
Self check in, tiny bathroom and extremely noisy over night - we frequently heard one domestic going on or another. Far more suited to back packers than anyone hoping for somewhere nice to relax. Felt the rooms where not up to scratch as advertised - our room was very disappointing in comparison with the pictures we had seen when booked.

Not a great experience. Boutique and self check in do not go together. Bathroom size of a matchbox and beds of very poor quality. Nothing Boutique about this place as also next to backpackers and noisy pub :-(

Stay at Gratitudes boutique suites

The rate quality/price is very good. The bed is very comfortable, you can sleep all day. The room is nicely decorated and it has very well-equipped. The staff helped us by phone when we arrive at the hotel.
The room is a bits mall. When you arrive, you have to enter through the back door, because of the front is an empty building.

A boutique Hotel in the center of Port Douglas

The cleanliness of the furnishings of the rooms in this building is impeccable...find an iPad in the Dock (free) and the Apple TV I think is more unique than rare; the other details of the furnishings are taken care of in the smallest detail, including bathroom; there is a large terrace with table. The location is very central, with restaurants, ice cream shops and most who have more; the beach is about 10 minutes away on foot. Just note that if you book via the web, as in my case, arriving after a certain time you might not be working anyone (there is no real reception); after a first moment of relaxation I found, along the corridor, the place where you go to return the keys: it is an English phone number written; whoever comes from the other side here will answer you.... whoever comes here to tell us where you have a key, it seems to me that you can't find a safe place to put it....

Very clean rooms

We stayed there for two nights, apart from the weirdness of having to call a phone when you arrive, because there's no reception, the room is good, maybe a little too small, but in return, it has an ITV and an iPad, and unfortunately, in the evening, all the birds in the neighborhood meet up here and make a horrible bang, clean, but really small bathroom, perfect location, recommended.
