Great place - Great location and close to everything.  Room was fantastic with a full kitchen and full sized fridge and freezer.  A great BBQ next to the back pool and loved the front pool as a bit cooler.

Great spot in the heart of Port Douglas.
Very close to all the shops, beach ( and swimming enclosure) and marina.

The unit number 17 is a three bedroom which was excellent. Two swimming pools to choose from too. 

If dining out, make sure you book early, even before you arrive as most places could already be booked out.

Great place to stay in Port Douglas

So amazed.  Newly renovated bathroom was beautiful and loved the whole place.  Very neat and nicely set out and with new furnishings.  Beds comfortable and appear new also.  Literally a minute walk to town and to patrolled 4 mile beach and a choice of two pools - the one at the front is cooler I found as more shaded.  Great BBQ area at the back pool.  Really loved this place and Unit 4 was perfect for us.  

Some tips.  For coffee - Captain and Co

Food :  special occasion - Nautalus.  Everyday .  This in Main Street opposite Pub.

Fun : thd yaucht club had free sailing sunset trips on a Thursday.  All they ask is you have a meal afterwards which I felt was fair.  Food is good too and great spot.

Markets : Dont miss the Sunday market.

So close to everything!

Gorgeous little complex.  It's an older complex but the place has been given a facelift recently.  Faces both Davidson St and Garrick St, with a heated pool on each side.  The older complex means its well built - you hear absolutely no noise from any of the other units as the walls are solid brick!  Lovely little BBQ area right next to the pool and the gardens are green and lush.
Unit was lovely, recently renovated and very well equipped. Clean, tidy and very comfortable.  
Sue (the manager) is lovely, she was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. 
When we come back to Port Douglas we're definitely staying here again. 30 second walk to Macrossan St and 30 second walk to Four Mile Beach.  Couldn't get a better spot!!

One of the best locations in Port Douglas

This complex is in a very handy position right near the Main Street and a very short walk to Four Mile Beach. Admittedly it is an older unit block and I wouldn’t have classed it as 4* given other places I have stayed. The pool area at the back of the complex on Garrett St side is lovely, we didn’t use the front pool as we didn’t really like the look of it. 
We stayed in Unit 7 which has recently had a new bathroom installed although the shower is somewhat small. 
The unit is furnished nicely enough but does feel like it is lacking a little in finishing touches. A few little touches here and there would just brighten it up a bit.
What I noted was the washing machine was old and needed replacing, same with the little outdoor table which is somewhat rusty, one of the airco units struggled, and the kitchen benches needed wiping down - possibly due to the kitchen window being open before we arrived.
The complex is managed by Sue across the road at Verandahs and she is absolutely lovely and accommodating. She took all advices about the room onboard.
If we were are to return to Port Douglas I would probably request one of the back rooms overlooking the Garrett St pool area or possibly try Verandahs as Sue is just lovely to deal with and obviously cares about her guests.

Handy little complex

We hosted Christmas lunch in our apartment!  Perfect kitchen with plenty of great facilities and utensils.  We had apartment 17, so our balcony overlooked the pool.  Plenty of veranda space, great for a family holiday.  Beds were comfortable, the couch is big enough for everyone.  The place has been refurbished with new carpet.  Seascape also provided us with a bag of Christmas decorations AND sent some clothes that we left in a draw back with the airport pick up people.  Thank you so much!!  We will definitely be back!! 

Perfect location!

We were fortunate to have the Penthouse Apartment at the front, as we required three bedrooms. For six people this is not expensive, and it has been recently renovated to a high standard. Managed by the lovey Sue from across the road  the The Verandahs who was always there to assist us with any request we could dream up. The apartment was of two levels with the third bedroom and ensuite on the second level, also with a barbecue and out door entertaining area which we used a lot to entertain. The first floor had two bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen , dining and sitting areas. We had up to 14 people for a meal easily. All mod cons, and two pools, and outdoor barbecue for all.  Only a block to the beach, and for our 8 a.m. Yoga class, then coffee and/or breakfast at the Surf Club . Only a short walk to everything, shops, restaurants and we even walked down to the Marina with no effort. We would not even bother looking for somewhere else if we came back to Port Douglas .  Being able to save on meals whenever we wished is a big plus with apartment living.

Tropical Reef Apartments - Penthouse

We have just finished a wonderful stay at Tropical Reef Apartments in Apartment 10 (3 bed top floor overlooking the front pool).

The apartment was quiet, clean and stunningly refurbished, with every little convenience thought of & lovely little notes throughout the unit. 

The lounge room & one of the bedrooms open out on to a sunny balcony which overlooks the front pool.

The third bedroom was upstairs with an ensuite & opened out on to the upstairs balcony.

Our kids (2 & 4) enjoyed both pools, the back pool was sunny in the mornings & the front pool in the afternoons. The front pool mostly at 0.68m depth was perfect for both to swim & paddle.

No lifts in the building but the stairs were easy to navigate even with two little ones.

The 2min walk to Macrossan Street or 5min walk to the beach were also so convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay & will be back!

very Comfortable appartments in a great location. Would be hard to find a more suitable location for the price.
The gardens and pools are pristine. Will certainly return.

Great spot

Unit 1 was perfect for us, 2 x travelling couples, two bedroom 2 bathroom each totally seperate. all the amenities we needed, a little outdoor courtyard, 2 minutes to the beach, 2 minutes to Macrossan St, pool right at our door and great value for money when you are looking and comparing in Port Douglas. Our friendly host was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Thanks Ella.

Would definitely call Ella again when we head back.
