A bit dated but very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and the owner was very pleasant and helpful. Pointed us in the right direction for food and supplied us with mandarins from his garden for the further journey to Cairns. Very good value for money. We would stay again. 

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN

This is really good value for money motel, had all the basics and was most comfortable. Tea snd coffee making facilities were in room, which seems to be not in many motels anymore. Check in was excellent, would definitely stay here again.
Location was excellent for us. 

Great value

I was looking for a cheap motel in Rockhampton on a quick trip north for Easter and this place did the job. It’s far from fancy but the bed was comfortable and the room clean. It’s very old fashioned and dated furniture but the price was much lower than most other motels and TV and aircon worked fine so suited my needs.

We stayed one night only on the recommendation of friends. Family run motel, old fashioned but clean, neat and comfortable. Owner happy to explain the local map and best dink g out options. Quiet and close to hotels and local clubs for dining. Inexpensive option.

Clean and neat with friendly staff

Needed one night stay from Brisbane to Airlie beach, checked in later in the evening.  Good price for the night.  Motel is the older style and dated however, air conditioning great, beds comfy and hot water good in the shower.  Owners very friendly and helpful.  Good internet. If you don't mind the age of the property and dont want to pay a fortune this is a good motel.  We only worry about a comfy bed and hot shower.

Older motel, friendly owners

I called into this motel late and got a room for a great price. Huge bed with crispy clean sheets. Room was huge with good tv and internet service. There was a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. I could park directly out the front. Owners were great and helpful. Though this motel is on a main road I didn’t get disturbed by traffic except the occasional siren. The air conditioner switch was very high but managed to turn it on. Definitely would stay again when just passing through.

Old motel but clean and friendly

My daughter and I just needed a place to stop over and break up our trip and we were very happy with our stay. Rooms are older but clean and have everything you need. We booked a budget double room to keep cost low but on arrival the owner/manager said she head given us a room with a big bed.... and she had.  We had a lovely clean room with a nice big bed.  The owners were so friendly, they were happy to chat and advise where we could get some food close by and while i was chatting my daughter was happily occupied with the other owner having a chat. Very happy with our stay. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and giving us a great place to rest our heads at a very reasonable price. 🦄

Close to Woolies and Dan Murphy.

Rooms quite dated but plenty of hotwater and the bed was huge and comfy with crisp clean linen

Ok for a quick stopover

We drive down to Sydney and we stop here for a night with my husband and baby boy we usually sleep together in one bed so staying here with big bed is such a relief after long drive from north.the bed is big the room is spacious and clean the motel is easy access and it’s in the heart of the city so everything is close. Over all the stay is positive 


Comfortable stop over

the rooms are spacious  AND CLEAN - the bathroom again very clean - , the place needs a make over but its hard for small businesses, at $ 70 - the rates were excellent for what was on offer - so I could not complain - floors, bathroom, beds, floors all spotless - cold AC  and great sized TV
