The Bottle Tree Gardens Motel is under new ownership and the owners are obviously keen to offer the best.  It is an older style motel, with units well off the street and parking outside the rooms.  Bedroom and bathroom were scrupulously clean and well appointed.  The fridge is larger than most motel fridges, there is a kitchen sink. microwave, toaster and jug.
  
We rated it very good value for money.  It is well situated, close walking distance to Woolworths, and restaurants in the main streets.

Be aware that units have several wooden steps at the front, which might not suit some clients. I am not sure whether some units are suited to disabled visitors, so it would be worth asking. Phoning direct will secure the best deal!

a budget hotel with big features

Air conditioned (with fan), comfy beds,  quiet rooms, good amenities, off street parking (at door of unit), free wifi, and friendly staff ... just like at home ... so what more could you want?
Also has microwave, fridge and close to shops and bottle shops. 
Definitely happy to stay here again.

Home away from home

Older stye motel room however spacious and very clean with a spa bath. Conveniently located to amenities such as supermarket, bakery, hotels. Has an excellent fish and chip shop located directly across the road. Would recommend.

Very clean walking distance to all conveniences

Managed to get a room to sleep 3 adults and a child by walking up. 

Massive bathroom and shower. Clean room, with mini fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery. Walking distance to everything. Great price and friendly staff

Road trip

We stopped at this motel on the way home after being oon the road for 2 weeks.
When we arrived we were told that the unit we booked would not be suitable for 3 adults, so we were changed to a unit that has stairs to entry and a spa bath which was difficult to climb in for a shower (as we are all physically challenged). The unit was compact but well equipped.

Overnight stop

Stopped in for one night on me way west. Found the Motel to be clean and close to restaurants and shopping in Roma. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
There needs to be some maintenance on the room especially the bathroom, but it's not enough of a problem to put me off.

Acceptabe budget motel

On entry you are greeted with what is possibly Australia's smallest hotel room.
The bed is soft and springy as you can feel most of them.
Price is your only advantage here.
Bathroom is tiny with cracked floor tiles and a shower door you have to hold closed.
Shower water swung wildly from scolding hot to freezing cold.
Pre purchase inspection is required here, alas we did not much to my later disgust.
Should have heeded Trip advisors 11 of 11 rating ah well maybe next time.

Cheap but not cheerfull

I booked a room through their website in August and then booked another room through booking.com in November. When friends of mine were unable to attend, I followed the link through my booking.com account to cancel that room. In no way did I cancel the first room I booked separately and months apart. When I showed up to check in they said that I had cancelled the rooms and there were no more vacancies. When I explained I had two rooms and that they were booked separately and through different channels and that I only cancelled one room, they were unapologetic and did nothing, leaving me with no accommodation as it was a very busy weekend in Roma and all other motels were booked out. Poor customer service and absolutely no apology for their mistake.

Unauthorised Cancellation

For$104 a night,a tiny tiny room, we shared with cockroaches, no hot water for showering, so dissapointed. Sorry we didn't continue on to Emerald for far more spacious room, free.breakfast , and spotless. Never again.
