After a 3 hrs delay for our flight from Sydney to Launceston and then to pick up a rental car at 7:00pm and drive to Scottsdale it was a pleasent relief to be texted where to park and advised the room number and the lights left on as we were arriving at 8:30pm.
We were met by Nadine and shown our room after walking down a small path.
Room was beautiful Queen bed with Walk in Shower and Body wash,Shampoo and toilet Spray.
Tea and coffee plus perculated coffee, milk , all cutlery and crockery plus tea towel and dishwashing liquid.
Room had a heater, two cane chairs,table with 2 chairs,lovely picture on thee wall and outside beautful landscape gardens.Just up the street is the main shopping centre with woolworths and a bakery for breakfast.
A bonus is the lovely host  Nadine who makes your stay special. I would definitly stay here again if in the area.

Great nights stay with a lovely Host 

Fantastic. Quiet comfortable room and bed with the most magnificent view of the beautiful established garden. Right in the centre of town. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely be booking again

Idealistic Setting 

Last minute decision and with only 30 minutes notice, Nadine waited us in, the 2 bedroom unit already warmed! Close to shops, large rooms, very clean and well presented! The electric blankets on the very comfy beds were sooo welcome. Thank you Nadine, definately highly recommended!

Highly recommended!

We stayed in Room 5, exceedingly well appointed, self contained and pristine. More than adequate amenities for our overnight sojourn. After our friendly greeting on arrival and then being settled in by our gracious hostess, we simply felt at home. Ventured out for a late lunch/early dinner and decided to have an early night to be fresh for the following days adventures. Our comfortable cosy bed ensured that we were refreshed. Lovely heritage gardens to take a stroll, just beware of the mosquitos.
A fantastic place to stay in Scottsdale.

We felt at home at Anabel's

6 of us from Sydney touring Tasmania on motorbikes. One of our guys chose and booked Anabel's.  We arrived this afternoon from an overnight at Cradle Mtn and a tiring day of fabulous riding. Steven greeted us in the carpark with a Boags each. The rooms are quite simply amazing for the price with everything we could need. Kitchen and bathroom thoughtfully stocked and everything in excellent condition. Toiletries are a really nice touch. Surrounded by lovely gardens. A quick walk to the shops, cafes, pubs etc. We liked the rooms so much we did some shopping and had dinner in our biggest room. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay at Anabel's in Scottsdale, Tas

Overnighted in Scottsdale after travelling from Burnie. It was a last minute decision and Nadine squeezed me. I was met in the driveway and shown to the room and settled in. The rooms are large, self contained and really clean. Nadine takes great pride in the place and it shows. The rooms are surrounded by a beautiful garden full of bird life. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay

This establishment was very friendly and helpful with a delightful setting. It was central to Scottsdale within walking distance of the shops and an ideal location to use as a base for the surrounding area. It also has a great bar and restaurant.

Great Place to Relax

We booked this villa after arriving in Scottsdale quite late on a cold afternoon.
The villa was very bright and clean, the heating worked a treat.
Excellent kitchen for cooking, bathroom was very roomy, bedroom was a nice size and the bed very very comfortable.
The host was very easy to liaise with.

Beautiful villa

I booked here for one night to break the journey between Bicheno and Launceston and it was a good choice. It meant I had chance to sightsee on the drive up, stopping at a dairy farm for delicious cheese, and the Legerwood wood sculptures too. I was going to look at Bay of Fires but it was winter and would have been a 50 mile round trip to see more beaches, there are so many gorgeous beaches in Tasmania I find it hard to believe there is another worth such a detour in winter. 

Anyway I accessed the property via a side gate as I did not see the main gate so I had to find my way through the garden to the main house to check in. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, showing me to the room and demonstrating how the heater worked. 

The room was very pretty, and also very clean. There were two comfy chairs arranged to look out over the lovely gardens, as well as a table and two chairs. The bed was queen size and also had an electric blanket as it can get cold at nights in winter in Tasmania. The shower room was also clean and quite spacious. I had not really expected much else but there was a small fridge and microwave, as well as an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. There was tea and coffee making facilities including the provision of ground coffee and a cafetière, a very nice touch. I popped to the local supermarket to buy some fruit and yoghurt for the morning as well as snacks for my evening meal. 

This was a lovely property and once of the nicest I have stayed in so far on my Australian trip!

Lovely place to stay in Scottsdale

The villas were well appointed and clean. There were lovely gardens to relax in after your travel. Food outlets were only 3 minutes within walking distance. Owners very friendly and helpful suggested places to eat for dinner and breakfast.
