We went with 12 other families from our school. Ski rider have been very accommodating, allowing each family to book separately, but still part of the group. The rooms are exactly what you'd expect, clean & warm with decent shower pressure. Lots of parking. The breakfasts and dinners are great with very generous servings. There are lots of boardgames that you can borrow and three pool tables (bring some $1 coins!). Whilst obviously the snow is the main attraction, coming in spring meant we got to explore some other areas as well. We drove up to Charlotte's pass and hiked up to the top one afternoon - amazing views! 

Great for groups

We have been going to Ski Rider for well over 10 years. Conveniently located the accommodation is fantastic with the best hot showers after a day on the snow. The rooms are spacious with your own ensuite and tea and coffee making facility. The breakfast and dinners are amazing. Nice bar and live music on Saturday night. Staff are friendly and very accomodating. Book for your whole family or for a large group. The shuttle service to the ski field are a bonus. The kids can return early leaving you to ski the whole day. Guest shower and change room on the day of check out is great so that you can hit the slopes and freshen up before your drive home. You will not be disappointed. 

Perfect, convenient, best hot showers, nice breakfast, amazing dinner… What more could you ask for. Highly recommended

Ski Rider

Can’t recommend Ski Rider Hotel enough. I recently stayed here for a 3 day ski trip at Perisher and was really happy with my stay. The rooms are a little older but have been very well maintained over the years and are extremely clean. The all included buffet breakfast and dinner is super convenient and really nice. I also ate the Fourteen Fifty Grill and it was delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Having access to the hotel shuttle to the mountain makes getting there soo much less stressful, there is also equipment hire available. The wifi is also great as reception in that area is a little off at times. Whether you are a single, couple or family, Ski Rider is the best option for staying as close to the mountain without the crazy prices.

Great stay at Ski Rider!

Skirider caters to our ski holiday needs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. What we really like about Skirider is that it’s only a few minutes away from the ski fields plus they have a shuttle service to take the guests to and from the ski fields. 
Nice bistro & bar and cafeteria style dining also available. I find this establishment to be well organized.

August 2023 Ski Trip

Fantastic place!  Wonderful staff.  Food amazing!  Dinner you can choose the Buffet or Cook your own Steak!  Breakfast was a bit crazy at times with crowds, but plenty of fresh food and variety.  Lots of smiling staff to cater for everyone's needs and to refill as needed.  Loved the open fire and several cozy spots to chill at night with a drink, a book, a game or watch TV.  Great games room with 3 pool tables. Rooms are motel style.  Everything was spotlessly clean.  
Only minor drawback for us was the room was bitterly cold the 1st night.  I think perhaps heating hadn't been on long enough to heat the room. Staff happily gave us an extra blanket the next night, and we were warm for next 2 nights after the room heated up.  And the door really needs some weather strip's/seals as we had to put towels up to try to stop the icy draught coming in.  But that's am easy fix.
Love all the hooks to hang snow gear. Could probably do with some more.
Michelle at Reception catered to all our needs and the lovely Restaurant Manager (sorry forgotten name) again was so helpful.  We'll definitely be back!  Highly recommend for families and couples.

Snow Break

Arrive without our luggage thanks to the airline.  
Firstly the staff went out of their way to help. This included free clothing hire until ours arrived. Free drinks on our first night. One of the staff even offered to drive us into Jindabyne to get anything we might need immediately.  They are a great bunch.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable.  They are constantly kept warm which is fantastic not to have to wait for the room to heat up after a day on the snow.
The food is well presented and delicious and plentiful. 
Had great trivia nights and the magician was entertaining.  



Great place to stay. Incredible service

Went to play a gig. Super impressed by the overall quality and service at this place. Welcoming, friendly staff and management, great rooms, comfy mattresses and warm and clean, really nice atmosphere... Would be perfect for families and there were lots there, plenty of space. Snowy Haven

Travelling to the snow as a family can be very expensive! However Ski Rider make this possible on an affordable budget. They provide all breakfast and dinner meals which the kids loved the buffet style food :) There is a seperate restaurant in the bar area if that takes your fancy.

The buses to the snow can get a bit busy but there is always enough room to take everyone who wants to go. The convenience of having the ski hire on site is so good as well. The team were very helpful in getting me a new pair of boots sent up to the slopes on day 1 as I had picked the wrong size (such amazing service).

The rooms are basic and bathrooms small but that is all you need after  a big day on the slopes. We visited in August 2019 and look forward to going back again!

Great Family Experience

Disappointed of how they handle the costumer refund, always sweet promises i have been ask for 3 time and always say next week till now i got nothing. I just dont get it why they still can operate their business. Does anyone know if we could report this type of scam to the police or not?
