Whilst the motel is in a good location close to everything, that's about all that's going for it. Definitely not good value for money. 
This is a very dated motel, beds are very uncomfortable, flooring is undulating, a trip hazard as well.
Curtains don't close properly.  Bathroom facilities are very dated, towels are very small and a bit ratty.
We were booked for 2 nights and the room was not even serviced after 1 night.
Pool is not heated, parking is not marked, yet management knocks on your door and asks you to move your car and count the spaces to your face in a condescending manner.
Not a very nice place, better off staying outside Evan's Head

Stay elsewhere if you have the chance. Better off travelling 20 mins for much nicer accommodation

My recent stay was not a pleasant stay at the Pacific Motor Inn. on my second day my room was not freshened up like I was told on arrival that it would be done daily.. the day prior to leaving I actually had to asked the girl if she was going to clean my room as she was packing up to go home and she thought to sign on my door said do not disturb but clearly ask to do my room as I was needing clean towels. She did tell she was not on the day before and apologised and gave me some fresh towels and soap.. In the room I was given 1/4 of a chux to wash  my cups and  plate .. in the bathroom sink .. which was a bit pathetic. There were no cupboard doors to hide plates and cutlery which I felt was  very unsightly.. .. Furniture was dated.. so I really cannot make a positive comment only that I had a place to sleep and it was in town.

Would not recommend to stay at the Pacific Motor Inn

Well located, easy to find and made very welcome on arrival
Motel is a bit dated but very clean and comfortable
It is located in centre of town and east walk to restaurants and shops
We only stayed 1 night as a stopover driving from Golden Coast to Melbourne

Evans Head stop-over

Perfect place to stay for a short trip. Excellent central location - walking distance to the beach, grocery stores, cafes, pub and main street of town.  Room was comfy, clean and affordable. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely place to stay in Evans Head

Room was clean and today 
Manager was helpful and had the aircon when I arrived 😀
Fridge was excellent and tv was a smart one 
Fresh towels and plenty of condiments 
My only complaint was the uncomfortable chairs in the room 


Weekend away at Evans Head 

I booked a room for my husband  daughter  and brother   on the 26.12.2022 for 3 days due to the lady telling  me that they had a 3 night minimum  on holidays and they were ment to stay there on the 31.12.2022 and depart on the 3.1.2023  my husband  9 year  old daughter  and brother rode 5 hours  there  just to have the man that apparently  "owns" the place look at them up and down and instantly  discriminate  against  them must be because  they have tattoos or are part of a well respected  social motorcycle club  and had their vests on or something  what ever this man's problem  he had no right to kick my family  out just because  they said they have never heard of a 3 night minimum  and asked for a bit of a discount  that apparently  makes them bad people so he told them to go away knowing  all to well that the whole town was fully booked and we were lucky to get that 1 last room   my family  was ment to be there for a memorial  run in remembrance  of a lost one  and instead  had to turn around  and ride a further  5 hours back home in the pouring  rain    if anyone is ever passing  through  and needs to pull up for the night and everything  else is booked keep travelling  because  I do not recommend  this judgemental  place at all and from the other reviews  iv read I'm kind of glad they didn't stay there I mean bed bugs and cockys  ewww no thanks

OMG!   Our rating is actually minus points!  Wasted $130 as we paid on-line, but we walked into our room and almost immediately left to find somewhere else.  Filthy, dilapidated, stinky, grimy, grotty, mouldy, old, DISGUSTING.  The sheets were greying, and by the looks of the laundry when we turned the car around, they do their own linen in keeping with their poor standard of hygiene.  In the shower you would have to wear shoes so as not to touch anything.  The freezer in the grimy fridge was almost totally iced over.  We opened a window when we first entered our room to try and dissipate the overpowering stench of some sort of smell masking agent, then battled to close it again as it kept jumping out of the rickety old frame.  Beneath the open steps leading up to our room it looked like the council tip.  There's rubbish everywhere!   When we drove in we couldn't believe the dreadful state of the pool area.  The receptionist was also disagreeable, telling us the smell in the room was still there from the earlier mop of the floor and that it was our fault that we could still smell it because we had arrived early.  Do not understand how this place can be operating at all.   It should be condemned and demolished.   It's also not fair to innocent folk reserving and paying on-line.

THE SHAME OF EVANS HEAD - ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

This is a typical family operated budget country town motel. The larger rooms are all upstairs with designated room parking at ground level so you have to cray all of your belongings some way to the room. The room we had was of adequate size, clean, tidy, well presented and with the basic appliances. It is located within walking distance of just about everything in town (bakery and store opposite, cafes in nearby Oak St, hotel around the corner, river walks close by). For our one-night stay it was very quiet, both from guest and local traffic noise.

Country town motel

Booked for a week from Christmas Day. Old style motel that has had a lick of paint and bit of a refurb. Enjoyed relative privacy in the end upstairs room - no-one walking past me on the shared balcony. Fairly well equipped room - the fridge, microwave and kettle were a godsend.
Loved the location, I could walk to everywhere. Pool was clean and refreshing. 
Would recommend for travellers not wanting luxury but just a clean pleasant place to stay. 

Pleasant Stay Over Christmas

Floor spongy. Cups had coffee stains, shower curtain filthy, shower head leaks, disposable chux dish cloth was well worn. Bed remake was pathetic. No tissues, no skin plug, no information, no WiFi , photos on internet were not as advertised. 

Very disappointed for $120/night. Very run down. Coffee cups stained, USED disposable chux dish cloth. Filth.
