A last minute decision to stop off at Grafton on our way to Queensland.
Located Glenwood on Google, read the description on accommodation and found it suitable for us
Making the booking over the phone couldn't have been easier
Check in was as simple as it gets
Our cabin, although not flash, was exactly as described, with no stench of bleach
Excellent air conditioning 
Clean sheets and towels that weren't stiff due to excess starch
The grounds were a little dry due to lack of rain, but they were well maintained and extremely clean
The park was also very quiet, so we all enjoyed a sleep in.

Exactly as described 

Stayed for 4 nights in our 22ft caravan. A rather large park with cabins and a few permanents. Large sites with drive through access available on most sites. Didn't realize the park was next to the Timber Mill. Thought it might be noisy during day. It wasn't. A little bit of low sawing noise during the day but nothing too bad but we weren't there after 10am so can't comment after that time. Night times and weekends were quiet. A few rumbles of trains could be heard in the distance at night but nothing too bad. We slept very well. Amenities are tired and old but clean. We enjoyed our stay and we'd stay again. Roads inside the park need a few potholes filled up.

We’ll be back if we need to stay again in South Grafton 

we stayed in the motel accommodation and the room was modern clean and spacious and we had a verhanda with table and chairs that was a bonus. it was quite and the office sold food drinks and icecreams etc. we loved it there and the owners are so friendly and helpful.

a great place

Not congested, peaceful and the powered caravan sites are easy to get into. Loved my 2.5 week stay in my drive through site. Staff are friendly and very helpful. No need to worry about getting flooded out as Manager showed me how he monitors local food levels.

Quiet and peacful

We stayed 2 weeks at Glenwood in August 22. The staff and permanent residents are all very friendly. The facilities were always very clean and well stocked. We felt safe and were comfortable leaving our caravan there for 2 nights while we attended a funeral in Brisbane. We will stay again on our travels. Thank you

Really nice caravan park

Ideal stopover for a long trip. Rated highly as budget stopover. 
Stayed in a standard double room in the hotel section of the place. 
The room was larger than expected. Comfy double bed, bar fridge, good strong shower, shampoo and soaps, table to sit/eat on.
Reception has a selection of food, drinks and ice.
It is an old place, but is looking well maintained and functioning. 
Will be using as a stopover in the future for sure.

Perfect budget stopover

Did my research and decided to try Glenwood Tourist Park for what turned out to be a 2 week stay in Grafton area. The place has been under new management for last six months or so and based on my experience is a great place to stay .They have a variety of accommodation to suit a range of budgets and the rooms I stayed in were very clean and tidy.  Now with the Pacific Highway bypass completed it is quiet which means I slept well. The Park manager (Tracy & Darren) are very proactive in their management of the Park and are friendly and sincere people. I now plan to bring my family here to break up our next trip from Brisbane & Sydney.

Nice place to stay excellent value for money

My son and I stayed one night recently in room 3. It was very clean and tidy. Tracy Lee was a very friendly and efficient host. I had provided the wrong credit card details so the card bounced. Tracy Lee was unfazed by this and she very graciously worked through and solved the issue on the phone while my son and I were driving up north. We will be back again for sure.

Good value, clean and very friendly

What a Grafton gem!

The Glenwood management team were tremendous. Very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a grassy powered site, close to the pool over the Christmas/New Year period. Great sized sites that were very well maintained. A quiet and peaceful location away from the main part of town. Very central to the beautiful North Coast beaches. A great base for our day trips.

Facilities were very good. Showers and toilets were always clean and in working order. Amazing water pressure! Great camp kitchen. Awesome BBQ and plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Picnic tables were scattered around the park for use by campers. Smooth, safe roads for the kids to ride their bikes. Pool area was great with lots of seating. There is a large lap pool plus a smaller kids pool both clean and with plenty of shade. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Grafton Gem!

The hosts, Darren and Tracy, were extremely helpful for the duration of our stay. Always happy to have a chat or say hello when they were out in the park.

I rented a cabin with my daughter and dog and it suited us perfectly for our extended stay at the park. Having my own kitchen was a massive help and the large open space at the back of the park was awesome for burning off some of that extra energy. The morning tranquility with the various bird songs was a beautiful and calming way to start the day.

On-site coin operated laundry was very well kept and there was ample space to hang washing of you didn’t want to use the dryers.

We enjoyed our time at Glenwood and would stop again if in the area.
