Cabin 34 and 35 are the best cabins as they have ensuites, full kitchens and full or partial water views. The other cabins are shared bathrooms. Linen and towels have a one off cost of $15 or provide your own also returnable deposit of $20 for remote controls. It has its own jetty on the river and pylons to tie up your boats to. Canoes are for hire on an hourly basis. They have their own shop where  you can get a variety of items but especially icecream :). Caravan park backs onto the calm river with a public walkway and flat grassy area in between, perfect for the kids to run around on. Sussex Inlet itself is a cute little town with everything you need including a cute cinema all within a 5 min walk. Facilities are well maintained, don't let the daggy privately owned caravans on site put you off. Would be happy to return.

Lovely family location

I've just returned from a week's stay at this venue and couldn't be happier. I found the park very neat and tidy, the staff extremely friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. I will be returning. 
I did arrive a little earlier than my 1pm check in time, but was greeted warmly, and even received an upgraded van closer to the water. 
The shared amenities were always clean and tidy.

February 2020 Stay

Please save yourself an entirely unpleasant experience from a run-down, poorly facilitated dive run by a bloke with a major attitude problem. Mowing lawns shortly after 8am, paper thin walls, forgot to put the aircon and TV remote in our room so we went without for the first night, dirty cabin with no hot water (use the kettle they said). Never have I given a poor review, but having endured that debacle I felt compelled to tell others to avoid. Sleep in your car instead, the experience will be tenfold better. Upon attempt to raise concerns about this with the manager directly, he informed me I must’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Well mate, it was my partners birthday and we were cheery until your mug poked around the corner. It’s not my fault your lousy excuses simply don’t fly.

WOEFUL, APPALLED, DISMAYED.

There are a number of caravan parks in Sussex Inlet as well as a number of parks that are only for permanents. This small park seemed to be all permanents except for a couple of sites. It cost us $25 for a one night for two plus $20 key deposit. For that we got a neat patch of green grass, a powered site, clean facilities and one key between the two of us. This was fair value but I was initially confused because the elderly woman who checked me in simply took $45 from my card without explaining that $20 was a key deposit.
As with the caravan park next door, the park runs between the street and the river front, where there is a pleasant, flat, paved walking path right to the RSL Club and the town beyond. The RSL has a courtesy bus.
The business is currently on the market. Perhaps the new owners will attempt to make guests welcome rather than bombard them with nagging, churlish signs all over the facilities.

Nagging signs to spare

I've been there with my friends for Christmas. Good price and good quality! Our caravan was clean, maybe a little bit too small for 5 people but still. 
Very nice area with the lake in front of us. Bad thing: we had the shared bathrooms. They weren't really clean. So here's my tip: choose a room with the bathroom inside. 
Beside this, you will enjoy the place.

cheap and nice!

Stayed at Riviera for the school holidays. Location is good. Cabin is well equipped with basic things you need. Dallas is approachable and friendly! Only downside is no swimming pool for those not wanting to swim at the inlet. 

Quiet holiday

Our first stay here and it was fabulous, from the lovely staff to our cabin with a most beautiful view.There is a pier reserved for guests only to fish from which was nice. A leisurely stroll to the RSl which has very large meals at a great price. It was a shame that we only had an overnight stay but now that we have been there we will certainly be back.
I highly recommend it.
