I stayed in the executive room. The interior is good but in terms of cleanliness it is not upto the mark. The kitchen was very dirty and even the utensils. There is a nice balcony but the chairs and tables were very dirty. It is a service apartment but they had provided one roll of toilet tissue papers when we arrived and after that it was never replaced. I am giving it a 2 star jus because of the modern interiors. I would not like to stay there next time.

Not well maintained

I stay at the Astra Apartments in North Sydney about ten times a year for work trips and the would not stay anywhere else.  The apartments a modern with great facilities - they have even added Google Homes and Chromecast recently.  The check in process is very easy and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Regular visitor

We stayed for 3 weeks over Christmas while visiting our kids. Apartment is modern and clean, full size kitchen plus laundry. Serviced weekly. BBQ area on top floor of the building has fantastic views. TV and Wi-Fi included.
Checking is at a pre-arranged time via agent (we gave flight arrival time and called from the taxi en-route from the airport).
Located 10 minutes walk from North Sydney station, then 10 minutes into central Sydney. Buses stop outside the apartment. Or you can walk to the harbour bridge in 30 minutes. Shops, bars and restaurants in the area are good.
Our apartment did not have a balcony - worth checking when you book if this is important to you (I think there were several apartments in the building).
