Stayed in this beautiful hotel this weekend, complimentary champagne on arrival was a very nice surprise, room was nice and the spa was in working order with amazing views of the valley, local restaurants will deliver so need to leave your room if you want pure relaxation, breakfast delivered to your room at 9am. 

Relaxation

A great little getaway. I wouldn’t go there again nor would I recommend it to my friends. 
Although everything was great, I didn’t think it was fair that smokers (myself) could not sit on our personal balcony and enjoy a wine or coffee with a cigarette. I had to walk outside..this was very inconvenient because I’m supposed to be on holiday. I had to literally put on layers of clothes, shoes, socks etc walk outside the house key and all just to have a cigarette!

Getaway from the hustle

Lovely place, location very good for exploring the Mountains. The house is old fashioned and quirky but beautiful, the view from the balcony of the mountains was stunning. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable, the spa bath very relaxing. A lovely breakfast served in your room. All in all a beautiful, quiet, relaxing, peaceful place would loved have stayed longer.

Lovely stay, really enjoyed our time there. The owners put a lot of care into the place. It was romantic and really beautiful, it's too bad for us that I cant see any available rooms anymore. Thank you for the enjoyable stay, hope we can book it again soon  :)

My husband and I have been coming to Moments Mountain Retreat for over 20 years and it always exceeds our expectations with the quality of service and facilities. The room is delightfully appointed with all creature comforts including double spa,robes, slippers, tea/coffee, fridge and luxurious bedding and sofa. The french doors leading out to the private balcony overlooking the valley is just spectacular. The breakfast was devine with delicious baked eggs, berry yoghurt parfait,fruit toast served with fresh squeezed juices,tea and coffee, and on the second morning, french pastries, quiche, fruit salad and yoghurt. We received a complimentary cheese board, bottle of wine, champagne on arrival, and late checkout for booking direct as well which just topped the weekend off nicely. Complimentary dvds, games and books are available in the lounge as well as port and sherry to sample. All in all, moments is the most romantic weekend away we've ever experienced and we thank our hosts deeply for the blessing of such a wonderful romantic escape.

Romantic, serene, peaceful escape

A very well-maintained guesthouse in the style of the first quarter of the 20th century. Despite amenities such as air conditioning. The two hosts have created a nice shelter here. They are not responsible for the neighbors on the terrace having to talk loudly to each other. Fortunately, the mosquitoes are actively escaping from the darkness, so even the loudest neighbor is fleeing to his room. The breakfast we kindly brought into the room. It is not excessive or one-time, as some people think, everything is very nicely done.

Lovely, good starting point for hiking

It's a lovely place and a lovely hotel. It's a country house that has few rooms but they are absolutely fabulous. When you arrive, the owner welcomes you and takes you to your room. He explains where everything is. In addition, in our case we had a spa in the room and explained how it was to be used. Breakfast is served in the morning at 8 and you are taken in a stroller to the room. Once you have breakfast, you simply have to leave the stroller out and they take care of it. Every morning is a different breakfast. The house has a pool room, a great place to read, books and music. In addition, several hiking trails are available from there.
