Not a particularly pleasant stay really. I don't like to be negative but room was old and tired, no tea and coffee facilities no fridge no attention to detail and a lot of rules like NO food in rooms!  
Too expensive for what it was.

Backpacker standard

The location of the small family-owned structure (about 10 rooms) is very good, a few steps from the beach and the most mundane streets but in total tranquility. The elderly owner of almost 80 years (former orthopedic doctor) is very sociable and available and endowed with an adorable humor. Unfortunately the services he offered were very different! The room was really small and with two small windows. Although it seemed very orderly it turned out to be uncleaned with sheets that had a bad smell and were probably used by previous guests. Even the bathroom was not in adequate condition.

So much sympathy and zero cleanliness

there was no false advertising, we just erroneously assumed that if you pay $240 a night that you would get a reception, bar or at least a fridge or at least tea and coffee making facilities. Also it was made very clear that we were not to bring food or drink into the room!!!!!
Room was clean but very tired and noisey. There was a view of the beach and harbour bridge which you would say was very nice if you were paying $50-75 a night.

backpackers accomodation 4 star prices

A good place to stay in Bondi Beach.  We were on the main floor.   The bathroom was not right in our room.  We had to go in to the lobby and use the bathroom off of the lobby.  But that didn't bother us at all.  The hosts were fantastic.  Very friendly and easy to talk to.  They had lots of information about the Bondi area and we shared lots of laughs with them.  The room we had was quite small. It has good tv programming.  Very clean and affordable.  Right at the end of Bondi Beach where it is nice and quiet but still close to all the activity.  I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay right in Bondi & doesn't wan't to spend lots of money.  No pool or fitnes centre.

Great Hosts

We spent three nights there because almost all the hotels in Sydney were booked. And in the end we were happy that we were at Bondi Beach and not directly in Syndey. Five minutes walk to Bondi Beach with all the restaurants, in front of the Tuer there are two buses that go straight to Harbour to Sydney (about 30 minutes), also a super clean track (you can save the expensive bus Hop oneber off tour of Sydney. Bryyon and Lorraine are a super elderly painter who were so helpful in everything, they fed us perfectly well. Although there is no seventh floor, there is only a homestay, but around the corner there is a super delicious cafe with a great fruit snack!
