It is the most disrespectful student accommodation you can find. Save yourself the money and time and DO NOT GO HERE! I have never been in a place worse than this, management especially is one of the worst. Disgusting place, horrible, so so horrible

Worst Experience Ever!

There are lots of hidden charges to the point the staff at the reception are struggling with complaints. The place is dirty and I was overcharged sometimes or had to pay for something that wasn't my fault. Don't come here, go elsewhere. Ridiculous rules in the tenant agreement such as needing to pay for like extra one month (?) when you want to end your contract, you can't do it immediately and it just doesn't make sense. 

Overcharged for things I didn't do 

My daughter moved in here for 1 year. The units are generally fairly grotty. The kitchen was in a constant state of mess - other residents hardly ever cleaned up after themselves. They dont try and place you with similarly aged students - my 18 year old was sharing with a 26 year old man. He used to have his friends over and they would all sit down stairs and smoke, the smoke then floated up to my daughters room. No one seemed too concerned if rules weren't being followed.
A requested move was agreed to, to a second unit. Slightly cleaner than the first one and less shabby but ongoing problems with mess in the kitchen. Regular problems with the key to the apartment - the door was chocked open for months as the key into the townhouse regularly didnt work. On the odd occasion my daughter was unable to access the complex - locked out one night after work ( it was midnight). The resident assistants rarely answered their phones and not much help when they did. The after hours manager told her to walk around to another entry - it was isolated and not safe for her to do this but was left with no choice. The agreement is difficult to get out of. My daughter left the unit late November - finally got the bond back mid January.
Not much going for it except proximity to the uni. My advice - go a private rental!

Moving to university in Sydney from a regional area

Hi all,
I was an exchange student last semester (July-Dec 2017) and chose MQUV as my exchange accommodation. 

First day when I stepped in to the apartment, it was dirty and there were obviously things left over by previous tenants and were not cleared/cleaned by the village’s cleaner. The fridge was not cleared as well, kitchen was dirty, old appliances, utensils were still around. Yet, the village normally charges us cleaning fee (as they claimed that it’s to clean up the place after we leave). However, evidently this was not the case, they collected money but did not perform. We were left to clean up the mess caused by previous tenants. (Which was CRAZY because when we left, village has repeatedly reminded us to clear all our stuff and clean the rooms, if not we will be charged additional cleaning fees) 

Next, the room I was in has a missing chair, broken wardrobe and a bed with a broken drawer(what the hell!). And we had to call the maintenance team to repair the wardrobe before the door would even slide. 

Some parts of the village are noisy and are not suitable for those who wish to study and rest early. 

Choose other place to stay if you can. 

Pricey, dirty, noisy 

Move in if you want to live in a poorly maintained house with loud neighbours who yell and scream at all hours and all through the week. Party policy is BS and not enforced. Houses have no AC or insulation so prepare to sweat and then freeze. Location is awful for living, nothing nearby other than the overpriced mall. Be smart and avoid this place and don’t make the same mistake as I did. Stayed one semester on exchange and paid more for a barren room with a dirty bathroom when I moved in than an entire fully furnished flat in the UK

Terrible Conditions at Terrible Prices

first of all it is horribly maintained , stayed there for my first semster  from july to december. these people purposely keep the contract till december end, when in realuty your smster ends in novemeber . When i contacted them regarding this , as i had to go home for vacation, they tell me it is for mba students who have trimesters. So basically you are forced to pay 1150 dollars even thought you not staying. But this is not all they falsely put a 100$ damage chrge on a desk chair which was not present in the first place. If you want to live a dumpyard and pay your cash ulimitedly please do go live there. However if you want a clean place, PLEASE AVOID. DO NOT STAY HERE.

They will loot your money

Common areas are so dirty that you never want to step in. Rules are poorly implemented. Males stay in "female only" units everyday. Manager are imposing double standards to their own staff and to ordinary residents. They "inspect" our room without prior notice in any form and favoring their own staff even if they break are breaking the rules! No fairness or transparency at all!

Worst Place Ever! Staff&Managers are discriminating others!

I live Close by and this village of uni students can be at times very loud! Since nights music and yelling up to 3am or even students running around the park across the road. Since they have placed a fence around the property it's a bit quieter. Other nights can be splendid tho relaxing and calm.
